My husband filed for divorce and has just served me with the divorce papers. We've been separated ever since he moved out over a year ago. During that time I tried to do everything I could to express my love and committment to him and to ask him to give us, our marriage and me a chance. However, he said it's over and done between us and he's moving on. He habors so much resentment towards me. The only time he wants to talk to me and/or see me is about the divorce. I'm still in love and love my husband so much. I pray that during this divorce process God will miraculously do the impossible! God will deliver him from satan's curses that are preventing him from feeling and seeing the truth about me so that he will reconsider reconcillation and utimately stop the divorce. What a supernatural miracle this would be! I pray that if this marriage ends in divorce God will help me quickly get through the hurt, disappointments, loss, heartbreak, etc... and then soon after God will bless me with true happiness, love and a companion because I don't want to be destined for too much longer by the loneliness I feel and the thought that I am to be alone forever.

Lord, YOU HATE DIVORCE, we ask for reconcilliation of this marriage Lord, Be it YOUR WILL, a healing of this guest LORD, that she does not feel alone but that YOU ARE her SPOUSE. Help her to separate her own walk & soul from her husband that these are his choices, as they may not be pleasing at all in YOUR EYES, they are however his choice, that she will be protected by YOU & remain in YOUR ARMS.
That YOU ARE WITH her Lord as she grieves this unwanted divorce.
Help her through each day, grow stronger in YOU & YOUR LOVE.
Heavenly Father, the outcome of divorce, the shattered lives, the confusion is often beyond belief. However, when we live according to YOUR WILL & by YOUR WORD we are Blessed. Help her to see that YOUR BLESSINGS do not have to go out of her life. If she is not with a mate again, Lord, that she have many friends, spiritual connections, Lord, that she continue to grow & see YOUR BEAUTY, JESUS.
This man is not deserving apparently of her love Lord, if she has been faithful, done all she could do. Divorce is not a sin, but if she is faithful, then he has no biblical grounds to be searching for someone else. It is him we lift up Lord, that he see the error of his ways, that he stop & examine his conscious Lord, in YOU.
We have free will, on this earth Lord, just when we believe we understand & get comfortable there are new trials, also new blessings & growth. Help us always remain in YOUR WILL for our lives, that we see YOUR FACE. Heal our hearts Lord. We want to live for YOU, whether we are single, married, divorced, widowed.
There is much grief in divorce. Lord help this guest in all of this, Be her Spouse & Speak To her Lord.
We ask these things in YOUR NAME JESUS.

As my husband continues down this path of divorce because he is convinced this will make him happy and that we are not meant for each other. I am praying that somehow someway he will start listening to the right voices, seeing the right visions, feeling the right feelings instead of the wrong ones. He will accept these as possibilities and not memories of the past. I know that no matter how hard I pray if my husband isn't open to hearing God's Word and following God's Will, nothing will change. God's promise of unity between us will be completely broken and destroyed by satan. I pray that he is drench by showers of prayers so that he will let go of his own free will and open up his ears, eyes, mind, heart and soul to God's truth. Even though I know it looks IMPOSSIBLE because we've been apart for so long, friends and family say its time to stop trying, he will never change his decision, visions and thoughts I have had lead to false hope I can't seem to give up on him, us, this marriage. I pray that God shows me a clear sign of what his will is for me. I pray that God tells me what he wants me to do- give up or continue to endure. I pray that God will help us both to completely let go of our own desires and free will so that we can act upon God's will and not our own. My sister, your husband can not be reached by your pleas as you have learned...and you are right about God's will...but prayer is powerful, if we pray for the right things...and believe in the one that can grant them. I do not know your situation...but I know what I have learned. I hope that the prayer below will be of help to you. May the Lord comfort and give you peace...

Thank you for the realization given this morning about how we pray about our troubled marriages. How I wish I had understood this some years ago when I was praying for my own. Forgive me for praying so selfishly then about what I wanted my ex-husband to do while he was caught up in adultery because of my own broken heart, my EROS love for him and my own pain and desires...that I missed the true mark. Perhaps the growth you have provided over these last 8 years can help others? I pray that it will...and I pray that earnest prayers, from many prayer warriors to reclaim those that have strayed from God will bring movement in many hearts... some of stone and some that are broken... and repair to many homes on the verge of collapse.

Speak life into these marriages. Turn hearts away from fraudulent partners and back to those to whom vows of fidelity were made. Give this husband or wife a rock solid understanding of what he/she is dealing with. This is not a battle with people who influence, other women or other men; it is one against spiritual wickedness among powers and principalities in high places...there is oppression operating against this wife or husband from these powers and principalities to turn their free will against God. They may not recognize it, but as I pray, this is what I am led to say. For the husband or wife of one who has strayed, I pray that he/she understands that there can be no breakthrough until this spouse is right with God. It is not about them loving in an EROS way this spouse they have left behind or the person with whom they are currently involved. It is not about them returning to this marriage or staying in an unholy relationship...rather it is about their returning to a relationship with Christ. Unless and until they recognize that they are in opposition to the Lord...His will and His ways...there will be no change in the current outcome and in fact it may become worse. This fallen spouse believes that their actions are right...okay...in their sight. They believe it as strongly as the one who has been left behind and wants reconciliation believes. He/she has been convinced by this evil oppression that what he/she is doing is somehow justified. As long as this husband/wife who has been left continues the quest, even in prayer for EROS love as their focus...there will be no change in the behavior of the other. By definition EROS love is that which is fueled by selfish desire...we want those we love to love us back, to share intimacy with us and us only...and this is both natural and human and ultimately what God intends in the marriage relationship...but the need within the one that has strayed that will return HIM or HER to righteousness is for AGAPE love to return...loving themselves as God loves them, loving their spouses as God loves them also...continuance of marriage is NOT a condition for AGAPE love...nothing is...it is unconditional. When we pray in this circumstance...we can and should pray for the return of this straying partner to their marriage...but first things first, as our God does things decently and in order. Let us pray for a return of the straying spouse to God...to His principles, to reverence for Him. When we revere God we cannot go against his ways. The heart of stone that currently exists in the breast of the one who is unfaithful is because their conscience has been seared...and continuance of this is exactly what the enemy wants. Let us bombard heaven with prayers to bring the unfaithful ones back to Jesus...let us ask for them to see themselves through the eyes of Jesus...let us ask that they see how HIS spirit is grieved because of their actions, not our own grief...let us ask for them to see that they are throwing His love, His sacrifice out the window due to their own quest for EROs which can and will bring chaos and destruction into their lives and those in their families... as it already has. These unfaithful husbands and wives are beyond the reach of what their spouses want right now...they no longer care about it...they are deeply engaged in her their own selfish quests to have what THEY want. But they are not beyond the reach of God. Let us pray with all our might that those who have broken their vows fall in love with Jesus again! If they do...if they get back into God's order...the order of the decency of God...their free will can be directed again by the Lord of Hosts...and their return to their marriages, where they belong can again become possible. This I believe...and it is this I pray. In Jesus name...Amen!

I wish I could turn back time. I wish God would turn back time. As I look back at our marriage I realized I failed to make my husband and our relationship a happy one. I disappointed him by making so many mistakes. I didn't see the signs and listen to and comprehend the words until it was too late. I didn't realize the awful person I had become until it was too late. Although I've been delivered from my curse, there is so much heartache and unhappiness that dwells within my husband's heart, mind, body and soul.

Someday I hope:
My husband can forgive me for causing him to believe that I am the root of his unhappiness and as long as I am in his life he will continue to be miserable.
He can forgive me for failing and disappointing him.
He can forgive me for not thinking and participating more in an "us" relationship.
He can forgive me for not taking better care of him and loving him the way he deserves.
He can see that the woman he fell in love is truly back.

Please pray with me as I ask God to help my husband to forgive me so that the resentments and miseries of our past that lie within him is released and the happiness, laughter, and love that we share can then be restored into his heart. Please continue to pray with me as I ask God to help my husband let go of his own selfishness and stubborness so that he can hear God's words and follow God's will. Perphaps then we can start anew and see where God leads us.

I pray that God will grant me with this blessing... to turn this extremely impossible situation into one of possible.

Father, that this woman has looked into her heart and found her failings I thank you for. Please help her to forgive herself as you already have. Please help husband to forgive her also. I ask that you soften the heart of this husband and this wife that they may be led back to one another and learn to live in harmony. Father you hate divorce and it was given only because of the hardened hearts of men...and then only for adultery. Father...please touch both of these people and heal their lives. Please pray for my situation. Although my husband is saying that he wants to reconcile, but he completely abandoned me financially, emotionally, and physically. he filed for custody and is trying to take away my two year old daughter with by claiming sole custody. I know that there is nothing impossible for God to do, and He`s been protecting me throughout this whole process, but I am very drained, and I am praying like never before for God to soften my husband`s heart and bring him to his senses. He kicked me out of the house, changed the lock in the house, and I am forced to rent an apartment. With God`s miracle, we have temporary joint custody while waiting for the next procedings, but I am miserable because I need to be with my daughter every day, and I only see her every other week (she is one week with him and one week with me). I am deeply hurt that after discovering his endless lies about pornography, strip clubs, and other lies, instead of truly repenting and doing everything he could to bring our relationships back together, he is claiming me "crazy". I know that God is in control, but I pray that He would shorten the time that`s needed to get through to him and would bring him to the place of that brokenness and true repentance. Only that would be able to change his behavior and attitude.

Lord Jesus, I thank you that You are in control. I thank you that you will continue to hold this guest in the palm of your hands. I know you are with her. I pray that you would strengthen her with your reassurance of love and peace and power of a strong mind through you Christ Jesus. God bless her little daughter who is innocent of all this pain. I pray that you would bind the darkness within her husband. Bind the spirit of pornography and lust and sin. Bind the spirit of adultery in him Lord Jesus, bring him to true repentance. I pray that you would put a hedge of protection around this young child, and keep her safe from the sins of her parents. Bind all incest and immorality. I know you are able Lord God and I thank you. I pray that you will make a way for this guest of escape. I pray that you will help her to hold fast to your Word and your will. I pray for supernatural healing in the hearts of this young couple. I pray that you would remove the blinders on the husband's eyes that he would see where it is he is going. I pray that you would allow him to face his filthy sins, and acknowledge what you have done for us when you hung on the cross and paid the price of our sins in full, while you shed your precious blood to cover us and make us in right standing with you through your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. I ask that you pray for me, as my husband has decided to leave our home and stay with his father. He claims he has two girlfriends, but I think he is only seeing one. Not that I would rather him have two, (because I would rather he be with me as husband and wife) it's just that if he has only one, then it seems as she has taken my spot. I know that God will not put on me more than I can handle, but it hurts SO MUCH! My husband and I have been together for 21 years, married for 10. I have a 22 and a 26 year old son, that he has raised with me. I am in so much pain, I never knew my heart could hurt this much!!!! Please pray for me.
