RE: Wisdom for mariage
Father may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. May your people turn away from the futility of their own understanding and worldly wisdom, so that they find the knowledge of God. Those who have an ear, let him hear what the Lord is saying. Those who have eyes, let them see and precieve what the Lord is showing to them. Your will is to save, restore, heal, bring peace, joy, love and blessings. Many times throughout your word father, you wanted to bless your people, save your people and give to them many things. When punishment or correction was due to them, you wanted to relent and show compassion to your people. The whole time, father you were waiting with your arms wide open, with a heart of reconciliation and patience, yet your people continued to turn to their own ways. Father this wife has turned to her own ways and went down the pathway of adultry. By her own heart she is pursuing the separation of this marriage and choosing willfully to enter into another relationship. Father your son has returned to you and acknowdged his ways, even accepted his responsibility for his part in the demise of their relationship. Father I seek your will father, that you will restore my brother Karl and show him your favour. Encourage him through this difficult time and give him peace. Bless him father. I ask you father to put a call on her life, pursue her with your everlasting love, so that she finds you and acknowledges you in everyway. As you did for Gomer, Hosea's wife, hedge in her way with thorns. Gomer is a picture and a representation of your people Israel. You wanted to guide Her/them from the way of destruction, spiritual and physical adultry, and restore the relationship between her and her husband, like you wanted the relationship between you and your people. Father you offered free choice, yet you also will put a special hedge around your people to guide them back. You will speak gently to them and stir their hearts and withhold things in their lives to draw them back to your will. Father we ask for this special and unique way of yours to draw this wife away from her current course and back home. May she full heartedly understand and acknowledge you as Lord over her life and choose to follow willingly the course and path that you have set before her. Heal and restore everything that has set itself against this marriage. Father you have said that they are a stubborn and stiff-necked people, that their hearts are hard and they will not follow your ways. Father you have shown that it has taken time for your people to turn away from those things that displease you, by that time that it has taken, you have shown us of your great patience and longsuffering to see your people turn to love you. Father even when you said that you wanted to hand your people a certificate of divorce and wash your hands, it was not a permanent divorce you had in mind. It was an expression of love that said "Okay, I will let go for a time to let them live the way they want and wait for them to have their fill." "When they have had their fill and have eaten everything that is temporary. Then they will see their error of their own way and that filling themselves with all the lusts and desires of this world does not bring lasting happiness and joy." You would accept your people back and forgive them and restore them as your people. You would cloth them in white garments and treat them as a bride. Father I ask that you would give peace to Karl and give to him an understanding and an expression of yourself. Help his wife see the work and the changes that you are doing in Karl. Help him to be free from the guilt of his wife's choosing, let him know the peace and give the peace that you said we ought to show towards an unbelieving spouse. We are suppose to let them go in peace, then we turn to you. As you said, Lord, that you will take vengeance, we are to leave room for your wrath. Then we will be blameless in your sight and no fault found in us by others. Therefore, whatever comes, will be clearly from the Lord and from their own error with no one else to blame, then by your kindness and your mercy they will repent. Father, we ask you to remove the guilt in Karls heart and give to him freedom found in your grace. May you give to him many things, a double portion of your blessing and your kindness. Show him your mercy and unmerited favour over his life. Give to him plenty of company and much support. Make him a blessing, so in turn he may be a blessing. Father I ask all this in the Name of Your Son, Jesus, Amen.
