Hello box11,
God Bless you for seeking help.
You have a darkness over you but the Lord, our God, is like a light and where ever the Lord is there will be no darkness. You should read the Bible, the more you read it the more you'll get closer to God.
What you have is called "depression" it's a type of sadness, but it cannot be CURED with medicines only because it's a spiritual sickness. Medicine will only help for the serverly depressed because they have no hope, if you have hope that means you're still fighting!
But fortunatly for you we have the medicine that'll fix ALL your sicknesses!

John 8:12
Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, "I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won't have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life."
The bible is Gods word. It's like a handbook of all truth in the entire universe, kinda like a scientific law, where it works anywhere you go, and any time. Past, present, or future. God worked in the beginning when he created the earth and heaven; God's still working today; God's already working towards the future, he's had it all planned out from the start! Trust in God, he knows what he's doing and knows how to do it right!
-------
First thing that you should ask for when you pray is for all of your sins, wiether you know what you've done or not, to be forgiving. Ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. And asking with a truthful humble believing heart. It will be done.

John 3:17
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
When you pray to God, ask him to fill all of your life with the Love he has for you. Ask for Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God, to take away your burdens and sorrows and make your whole life new.
Matthew 11:28-30
Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
When you get home from work, instead of taking sleeping pills, I want you to read from the bible, in particular, Psalm 18.
If you're not to familiar with how to find what in the Bible:
We put the name of the Book then chapter number then verse number. Like So,
John 3:16
John is the Book, it's the 3rd chapter, and the 16th verse. A verse is like a sentence, in the Bible, the verse number will be on the beginning left side of that particular verse.
As practice look that verse up for yourself, John 3:16, and remember that since IT IS Gods Word, he is speaking to you. Have no doubts about it!
Jesus gave us a model prayer, we call it "The Lord's Prayer"
I'll refer you to Matthew 6:5-13 but please read on to 6:15
And if you don't have a Bible try to get one that you can understand, if worse is to worse, search online. We're fighting for your life, I think it's worth it.
God has many names, one name in particular is our Heveanly Father. Which IS different than our earthly father.
-------
This is the Lords prayer.
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be don in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
-------
This will be my prayer for you:
My Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ, remove the darkness over this ones life. Come into his life and make all the days of his live marry. Let him know that you are true and will never ever forsake anyone. Let joy spring up in his life, give him new meaning a new purpose; fill his life up with the Holy Spirit and guide him forever more. Thank you Lord, through the Love you have given us by our Lord Jesus Christ; Thank you for saving all who will just believe in you for you have given us a great mercy, your wonderful wonderful grace. Thank you Lord. Amen.
