urgent prayer need

my husband and I adopted two children (not siblings, separately). They are American, and were in foster care because of abuse/neglect. Our son Mikey, age 12 has been with us for three years. He is seemingly a great kid on the outside, but there is a fierce battle inside of him. three steps forward 4 back. His primary issue is lying and stealing. we thought we were making breakthrough and between yesterday and today he really acted out in school we are at our wits end. we pray and pray take him for prayer and won't stop believing but we need others to stand with us...it affects the entire family......we greatly appreciate your prayers.

RE: urgent prayer need

Dear Heavenly Father, Please heal these children from the abuse that they have suffered in the past. Guide them to the truth and love that is You. Bless these parents that are seeking Your help to provide these children with a better life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen

RE: urgent prayer need

Lord we ask that you heal Mike's mind and heart. Whatever memories and experiences that are still hurting inside of him, we ask that you will take them away - either by miracle, Lord, or by someone coming into his life that does your work in helping him through this and showing him there is another way. He is still very young, Father, and has his whole life ahead of him to get to know you and create a new path for himself. Please help him to do that, Lord. We ask that you will be the "Hound of Heaven" (C.S. Lewis' term) for Mike, follow him, hound him until he can do naught but fall on his knees before you, give up his anger and hatred and bitterness and fear and trepidation and lost hope, turn it all over to you. He is young, Lord. Please heal him so that his experiences don't ruin the rest of his life. We ask you to bless both him, his adoptive brother, and his adoptive parents. Thank you that you've given him the opportunity for a new start, a new life. Please make him desire with all his heart to grasp that opportunity and appreciate it and live for it. In your name I pray, Amen.

Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
