My prayer request concerns a purchase I am trying to make for a home. For the past 4 years I have been living with a friend and taking long visits with each of my children whenever I am able.

Through an inheritance, I have enough for a down payment and closing costs, but I do not have a job. I have applied for jobs and have not been called for interviews. I am 62 years of age with excellent computer skills. I have never had trouble getting jobs before. (I live in Canada).

Now, this VERY MORNING, I am meeting with the real estate agent who was trying to get me financing for the house. The lenders are concerned that I cannot prove income for the past 2 years. I have been fine financially because of savings.

Here is my prayer: that God would allow me to get into this house ONLY if HE knows that I will not lose it. I plan on working. But again, the job is not in place yet. Should I step out in faith that He will take care of me? Or should I continue to float from place to place with no real home of my own? God knows my heart and how I would love to be settled in my own home.

My Dear FAther In Heaven, I come to you with praise and thanksgiving for all you do. I pray you will take this request and have this child of yours to do the right thing. Open the doors that need to be opened, and show this child what is right. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen
