Today we heard very unfair news that former Army Commander of Sri Lanka was sentenced to two and half years imprisonment by the Sri Lankan Government itself. The whole country knows that this is a political revenge. He played a major role in putting an end to the 30 years of war and he was a Gentleman. He faced a deadly Suicide bomb attack and God saved him for the country. Only wrong that he did that was known to us was standing against the government (President and Defence Secretary who is president’s brother) after his retirement for their corruption. Until then he was a great hero and was given numerous medals for his heroism.

He was taken in to military custody nine moths ago without any chargers and then fabricated them. None of the initial chargers were proved and for a charge that nobody knew one month ago; he was sentenced to a general prison. He has already been stripped of his title, medals, pension and other honours.

Today most of us Sri Lankan sit and listen to this helplessly. The whole judicial system is under their corruption. Therefore please pray that God will make the final jugement on these false accusations and send this country and Sarath Fonseka a miracle. At this rate we are in the threat of loosing this great man by an assassin sponserd by the government. Please pray!

Father, you know the truth of this situation and you know what needs to be done. Father we ask that in your wisdom and mercy you will bring righteous justice to this man. In Jesus name...Amen!
