Last week my Husband tells me he wants a divorce. I am in total shock. I never saw it coming. We have had our problems over the past year, due to me being pregnant with our 2nd child and unknowingly having lingering postpartum depression from the previous one(they are 16mos apart)and it got out of control. Nothing dangerous, just a complete shut down on my part. I shut my Husband out. Neither of us talked about what was going on with each other. I took for granted the love we have for one another. He said he would try counseling but he is very reluctant. I am praying so hard that God will open his heart back up to me. I know it will take time, as I have caused him alot of pain, but God brought us together so many times before over a 15 yr span. I know he was trying to tell us something and we werent listening til 5 years ago. I love my Husband with all my heart and I am not ready to let go. We have a wonderful combined family and were blessed with 2 baby girls together, I cannot imagine living without my family together. Please pray for us.

Heavenly Father I come to you in the name of Jesus and I lift this family up to you. Heavenly Father I know that you are a God of peace and not of disorder. I know that the only one who would want to destroy this family is Satan. You Lord have already defeated Satan, and in the mighty name of Jesus and the blood that Jesus shed on the cross to destroy the devils work, I pray that you rebuke and bring to destruction any attempt of the devil to destroy them. Lord open her husbands eyes to understand what his wife has been going through, the years of being pregnant, having his children, being a wife and mother are very sensitive. It's a beautiful but it sometimes takes awhile to ground yourself again. Please bless this family in the mighty name of Jesus, fill them with your mighty presence and love. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.

Father God - look down with compassion on this family and heal them. I pray that you will speak into the heart of this husband and open his eyes to what he is actually asking for. Divorce should NOT be an option - it steals too much from too many. Holy Father, send Godly people into these lives to speak TRUTH to them. I bind all negative influences and powers of darkness in the names of JESUS and I pray that YOUR will be done. Come Holy Spirit - come and heal. Intervene and give this family the help they need. AMEN.

In agreement with above prayers. This is a, "throw away," society. So many go into marriage not meaning the vows they take. It perplexes me. We are forgiven our sins, but there are consequences for not living by HIS WORD. Continue to work on your marriage, if your husband leaves you that is his choice. By sticking to your commitment as you are, you remain in God's Grace.

My Father, this family needs Your help. Father, please bring a love and peace into this marriage that passes all understanding. Father, please send Your Holy Spirit into the heart of this marriage. I ask this prayer in Jesus Holy Name. Amen!
