As I face the storms of life, living for my Lord and Savior, and my Father, here on this earth, it can be overwhelming at times for us all. There will be fiery darts thrown from every side. But, with each passing day and year, I know that each of us prayer warriors are getting close to our goal. That goal is to see our Lord and Savior, coming in the clouds. Sometimes, we just have to remind ourselves and one another, that this journey has a purpose. Our hearts get heavy, our thoughts get bleary, and our eyes sometimes run with tears. But, it will be all worth it in the end. We just have to remind ourselves and each other, that we must stay steadfast and unmovable, always abounding in the work of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We study the bible, we praise and worship, but we are still humans with emotions. There may be family troubles, financial troubles, marriage troubles, or the non-stop attack of demonic forces. What ever the case, we must endure the fight. I think of the many nights that I lay on my bed and cry, "How much longer dear Master will we have to suffer? How long Lord, must we watch helplessly as those we love disobey your truths? How long Lord, will the evil of this world continue? I am then sent to Daniel chapter 8. We are not the first soldiers in this war to suffer the above mentioned hurts.
But, boy do they hurt sometimes. I hear from prayer warriors not meeting their rent on time. Prayer warriors not feeling well. Prayer warriors suffering disease. Prayer warriors getting divorced.
All I can say is, just keep holding on to what we know is true, God's Word. Jesus suffered, and many of us will suffer. But OHHHHHH the reward will be worth all the suffering. Just to see my Savior, the one that died for me. Just to behold his smile. Just to hear him say, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."
I can hear him talk of my mess ups. I can hear him talk of my hard headedness. I can hear him talk of my need to be corrected on many occasions. I can hear him talk of my stubborn will needing to be broken down. But, on thing I pray He won't be able to say is, "You gave up the fight, right when I was coming to get you."
Help us dear Lord to hold on. Help us Heavenly Father, to run this race and not get weary. Help us to keep on fighting the good fight of faith.
Help us dear Lord, with Your Holy Spirit, to say the right things to those that don't know who you are. Help us dear Lord, to share Your word with those that don't understand Your purpose.
Help us dear Lord, to seek Your word when our marriages are in trouble. Help us dear Lord, to seek Your word when we need reassurance in our finances. Help us dear Lord, when our children want to stray.
We can't make it without You Lord. We are sinking sand without Your help and guidance.
To all the prayer warriors out there. Keep up the good fight of faith. Don't give up on our Lord doing just what He said He would do.
Please pray for me, that I will be what God is needed me to be in these last and evil days.
I ask these prayers to be heard on High, in the mighty name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
