Believing for a miracle can feel lonely

I'm praying for restoration in my relationship with Steven. I know what God has spoken to me. Steven is going through a difficult time and has "stepped away" we need a miracle. I've prayed MANY times during our relationship, God never said to leave or give up. . This contradicts everything God spoke to me. I'm devastated. I know God is in even this, but I could use strength. .. peace.. reassurance. . I need something only God can do. I know God has this, but I wish He'd let me know that He does. I feel like I'm the only one that believes in it.. I feel lost. This hurts so bad. I know God has a plan to bring him back, but... we need a miracle

Lord have your perfect will be done in this person's life and their relationship with Steven. May they be able to
see clearly, and allow you to guide their steps. Talk to their heart like you did to me many years ago, and may they listen to your voice in their heart. We do know you do perform miracles Lord. I pray in Jesus mighty name amen.

Thank you for praying!: we need all the prayer we can get! So many friends have said "maybe him leaving is the miracle. " but I know what God spoke to me. It was never this.. I need God's intervention

RE: Believing for a miracle can feel lonely

Many, Many years ago all in my family, friends and people from church used to tell me to forget my husband, since he had left me for another woman out of the blue. I never suspected anything like this would happened to our marriage. But I felt God telling me to hang in there, I also remembered all the good times we used to have, how he was my best friend way before we got serious and married. How understanding he was toward me, and all the plans we had of someday traveling. One day I got home from work as I opened the door, I saw some of our small items gone, and the place a mess. Went to the bedroom and something made me look in his closet it was empty. That morning we had gone to work together, then he switch train to go to the west side where he worked, he even gave me a kiss before switching trains, I continued to my job. So you can imagine what a shock it was to me, I called his job and I was told he had quit the day before.
So I was advised by my family to divorce him, I went to a lawyer but I felt like part of me was missing, and if I divorced him I would never be the same. After talking to a lawyer, I realized he was making the situation worse.
I had this terrible voice telling me, you have not let me handle this, the lawyer is not the answer. I called the lawyer and told him I had to think this over more before I proceed with the divorce.
I turned my husband over to God and prayed like I had never done before, I felt this assurance that God will answer my prayers. He did, but it took seven years of me waiting and praying. In those seven years we got together and separated twice. I continued praying, and one day he went to church with me, to my surprise when the alter call was given he was the first one to get up and go to the alter. He was raised with no religion his parents were humanists, but it took a praying wife to stand on the gap for him. Today he has become my best friend again, and we do many things together, and we laugh and love each other very much. Everyone who saw what I went through in the first ten years of my marriage can't believe we have survived it. Today we are both in our seventies and very happily married, all that happened more than forty years ago. I remain faithful to my husband and to our Lord, hanging onto our Lord with all my might, thanks to God he answered my prayers. It wasn't easy nor overnight, because God had a lot of work to do in me and in my husband too. We are more
wiser now, and even give our advice to others that are having problems in their marriage. He too now agrees that all during that time he felt like half of himself was missing when he was not with me. You see the enemy tries to destroy what's good, and bring others to tempt our spouses so it would be easy for him to get in to destroy us. It's a spiritual battle we can fight only with God on our side, with prayer, reading the bible, and listening to Christian music too.
I pray the Lord will answer your prayers and give you the desires of your heart, but first seek the kingdom of God with all your heart, love God first, make him all in your life, and let Steven up to God. When you put God first in your heart and give him your all, you can see miracles happening. If it is not God's will for Steven to come back, then God will give you his peace, and take him out of your heart. Then when you less expect it, you will find someone better than Steven, who will appreciate you more. Someone you can be happy with, also one that will serve the Lord with you. I pray this in Jesus name amen.

Thank you so much for sharing your heart with me!! This means so much! I'm praying more and harder than I have in years. I know God is bringing me closer to Him and maybe this is why this is happening. .. I know me and Steven are apart now, God has this but I don't want Steven to forget he loves me. I need him to miss me.. there have been several little ways that God has let me know that He has this and that He's working. I'm just hurting, I love the Lord and I know He has a plan to bring Steven back and to bring him back differently.... God gave me a dream the other night that really touched me, and I KNOW it was God.. I hope he can let Steven see me in dreams aswell. I heard a preacher once say, God doesn't move quickly, He moves SUDDENLY. ..

I just hope that He moves soon... for my heart's sake.

Remember what you let go it will come back to you. Just don't put any pressure and don't let the enemy make your life miserable. God has a plan for you, allow him to work in you first. I pray for you and Steven, in Jesus mighty name amen.

Thank you! God had brought me do much closer to Him through this, I haven't prayed this much in years. ... that's actually how I found this group, but my heart worries about Steven. I worry for his safety, his soul, his heart. I've been reminded of the story of Hosea and Gomer many times throughout this. While me and Steven are not married, he is whom my heart loves. I know what God has spoken, it was never give up. I know that God does not interfere in free will, but I'm praying that like Gomer, God can use His divine influence to protect him, open his eyes, and let him not forget that he loves me.

I know it's not easy waiting for the Lord to answer our prayers, but remember it's in his timing, not ours. So be still and be patient, he knows what he is doing for you better than us.
Lord give this child of yours the strength and peace she needs to wait on you without fainting. In Jesus name amen.

Romans 8:24-25 For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
