Prayer for home situation

I'm requesting prayer again for my mom & our situation. She is having problems that we can't cope with. My father & I both have health issues & it's getting more difficult to keep my mom happy. She's very demanding & doesn't understand when we can't do something because we aren't physically able or when we have to be at work. She's also gotten very lazy with her personal hygiene & I'm constantly having to clean up after her. She refuses to go to the bathroom when she needs to & insists on waiting until it's too late. I know that's disgusting, but it's a source of contention because she'll slip out of the bathroom, leaving a horrible mess. If I say anything to her she gets angry & accuses me of lying or she'll lie & try to claim she didn't do it. Basically accusing my dad & me, even though he was at work & I was doing housework, etc. & hadn't been in there. She refuses any type of medical or psychological help. I can't take anymore. I already have health issues that cause me to feel bad, but I'm also getting physically ill from cleaning up after her & the constant running back & forth of waiting on her. There are days when I'm afraid that my dad & I will emotionally or possibly physically collapse. I'm sorry for the long request. I'm at my wit's end.
Thank you for your prayers

I can only say Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might. You are in a hard situation, but sometimes our complaining hearts make it feel we are too when we are not. God, forgive us and help us overcome as Jesus did. Only You can help change us inside and out. Please help us.

Have you taken her to be check for Alzheimer's disease?
Lord give this people the strength and peace they need to deal with this mother. May they take her for the right treatments, or be able to get help for her while they are not at home. For it is very dangerous to leave a person in her condition alone. Bring healing to this family, perseverance, also the help they need for their loved one. I pray in Jesus name amen.

In reply to your question, she refuses to see a doctor partly because she's afraid of what the doctor will say about her smoking. She has been a moderately heavy smoker for 50 years & she's also convinced that my dad will have her committed to a mental health facility. My sister recommended an "at home test" for Alzheimer's by having my mom draw a clock, but my mom is very obstinate & I don't know how to get her to do that. My grandmother had Alzheimer's, but her symptoms were different & hygiene was never an issue with her. When my mom has bathroom accidents it's because she claims her arm hurts or some other excuse. She'll even tell anyone who's in the bathroom to hurry & get out, yet she will still wait until it's too late. I'm sorry for all the detail. It's hard to explain & we've known for years that she has an undiagnosed personality disorder. After talking to different people, I've been told that it sounds like borderline personality disorder. Again, I'm sorry for the long reply & thank you for your prayers.
