Our church was similar. It was hard to get to know anyone and when I did I was given the feeling that they were better than I. I don't go to church at present. I made some attempt to go elsewhere but didn't feel welcome there either, so presently looking for a church home to except me freely.

Heavenly Father soften the church member's hearts that they won't turn their back on the lonely. Help them to be an example of Your love. May Your Holy Spirit reside in their churches and welcome everyone freely with love, peace and understanding, In Jesus Name, Amen
