Please pray for my grandson that is due in Feb. During a routine ultrasound my daughter found out her son has gastroskisis, This means he intestines are on the out side of the stomach. She went to the Dr’s today and they said is will be a very small baby. He will need surgery when he is strong enough after birth. The Dr’s expect him to stay in the nic unit for at least 8 weeks. Since I have just started a new job this past August after been out of work for a year I will not be able to be with her. Her Husband is stationed in DC so when he is not on duty he will be with her. They also have a 3 yr old and an 11 month old to tend to as well. Please pray that the new baby will be OK medically and physically. She is going to have her hands full since I will not be able to be with her. I just pray at some point I will be able to fly to VA to be with her.
