RE: expecte new grandson
I will pray for you my dear grandma, I know how you feel, and I will pray and pray.
Last year, my daughter was 19 weeks pregnant with my first grandbaby , a girl, Avalon Katherine, and her cervix opened. They were going to do surgery, but then her water broke, which they gave very slim chances. If she would of made it to 24 weeks, they said there was a good chance of survival, but sadly , she did not, and Avalon went home to be with the Lord, on Dec. 21st, 2007. I did get to hold her.
For hope for you and your daughter, it sounds like your grandbaby has a good chance, as I was low on fluid too with my 2nd son, and he was fine, and they said after 24 weeks the baby has a good chance of survival.
Hope for us, my daughter is now 12 weeks pregnant. Tomorrow, she goes to the Doctor, please keep her in prayers, as she has had some danger signals, and she needs to have surgery to close her cervix soon, so what happened to Avalon does not happen again.
My daughter is 26 years old, and was a preemie at 30 weeks, that was 26 years ago, she only weighed 3 lbs. 8 oz. , and she was in a regular nursery right away, so have hope !!!!!!!!!!!!! I believe it will all be alright with your grandson, and I will be praying for all of you Grandma!
Hugs,
Cynthia
