Father, thank you that this man has agreed to go to counseling. Forgive him for his selfishness that he chose a football game instead of working on mending his relationship with his wife. Let jrob54 be grateful they are not together at this time...because only you the Father know what other kind of foolishness he would be setting before her eyes if he was and how heart breaking that would be. He is clearly thinking of himself and himself only which speaks to great immaturity in his development as a man and also as a Christian. Father...let jrob54 go before your throne daily seeking your wisdom and working on her own growth in Christ. From all appearances, this may be a long battle...and she will be confronted with much because the enemy has more than a foothold. But let her keep her eyes on you...get deeply into your word...and celebrate in her heart this small victory.

Father...break the bonds of this friendship with this man and replace it with a Godly man...mature in Christ who can help this man develop in eternal things...the things of God. Turn up the heat on this husband's soul...that he might be broken and humbled to the point of crying out to you...for your son...for forgiveness. Father...lead him and guide him to know how far out of order he is. Please in your mercy protect him from spirits of addiction and seducing spirits that he might avoid greater snares of the enemy.
