The one wife @ a time is old testament, not new testament.
The old passes away, there is a new order. Just like Heaven.
I choose to sit up front, so I can clearly hear THE TEACHER.
& we are given Holy Spirit Interpretation, of our own accord,
that we each hear CHRIST, this is why we each are judged.
God Is A God Of Love, but HE Also Has Rules, that is the whole point.
God Bless! It is a good thing to follow HIM, a good parent is strict, loving, but with rules & compassion. If they said, "oh well, you are going out doing all these horrible things, well, let's just talk about it, ha ha, that's ok.. " NO, God Seeks Order, He Is A Loving But Strict God, because HE LOVES us.
It's like having a brand new parent, knowing we have all we need in HIM, & when we grow up & move out, we can go to HEAVEN,
& I want to please God, that I may have all of The Fruits Possible when I arrive.
These are good & wonderful things to follow HIS WORD. It is not bad, it is good, but strict, many benefits!
We are rich when we are with CHRIST! Like THE BESTEST PARENT IN THE WORLD!!! We just decide. I want JESUS AS MY SAVIOR,
move into that mode of following CHRIST (HIS BOOK), then when we move out (to HEAVEN) it will be a glorious day indeed!
I can't think of any rich that compares to being in & with CHRIST,
God Is Love.

Those are THE only exceptions for remarriage. It is clearly stated.
The difference is we can interpret & then deal with God on Judgement day & this is what will happen, as The Word Says,
this is my belief.
I agree there are a few exceptions for remarriage, but they are strict.
REMEMBER, "it is a narrow path & few shall find it."
If we could do whatever we wanted, would not be any point in being in CHRIST (Christian). There is a rule book, just like in school, we follow it, then we are graded (by God).
