Last week my husband filed for divorce and soon plans to serve me with the paperwork. We have been separated for quite awhile. He moved out because he had been miserable for a very long time.

I believe that I am responsible for his decision. As I look back at our marriage I realized I failed to make him and our relationship a happy one. I disappointed him by making so many mistakes such as not paying attention to him, making him feel unworthy, lack of communicating with him until issues were resolved, not valuing his inputs, and neglecting him. But ever since our separation I see, accept and understand my past reactions and behaviors. Through it I've changed and I've matured. Now I know what it takes to be in a committed, loving, and happy marriage. All I ask for from my husband is to consider giving me, our relationship and our marriage another chance.

Unfortunately, my husband is so selfish and stubborn that he continues to dwell on how I mistreated him in the past and the thought that misery can only exist if we are together. He's not willing to take a chance to see the changes in me and that we can be happy together. He's not open to any discussion towards reconciliation because he doesn't want to give me false hope. All he wants is to divorce me so that he can find his own happiness.

Please pray that God will grant me a miracle.. to turn this extremely impossible to possible.

Please pray with me as a I ask, plea, beg God to ask my husband to forgive me, have a change of heart and be willing to take small steps towards rekindling our love, reuniting us, and restoring our marriage.
