my husband of 24years has moved out 2 days before christmas without saying anything to me or our grown children. I came home and all of his stuff was gone. I am so devestated i still love my husband so much, i cant understand why or how he could leave our marriage after being together for 30years and married 24. We have been going through problems for about 6 years mostly because he started going through a change of life. Our adult children are so upset with what he has done and dont want nothing to do with him. my husband says hes willing to not speak to them, he also says when there grown men they will come around in speaking with him.I have expressed my love and feelings towards him, but he says he doesnt believe i can love him. I have become very depressed, unable to function at all. Im not sleeping or eating I've lost 10# and cry 24/7. In january i was served with divorce papers. Ive asked him if this is what he really wants and he says YES. It has to be done he doesnt want anything to do with me. He said he just wants to move on, and hit the restart button. He is a christian and has said he made his peace wiht god, and god is speaking to him to do this. I pray to god to save my husband and guide him to opening his heart to me, and to give us a chance to work on our marriage. I feel like im dying, i miss everything about my husband. he wont even accept my calls im on the reject list. If he does accept my calls he only wants to talk about the divorce.
