Dear Young Person, How my heart goes out to you for having to deal with these kinds of problems at your age! Your mother is not thinking straight or she would have left this terrible man years ago and devoted herself to her children! I urge you not to let this destroy your life and your dreams for the future! Continue to have faith in the Lord and to forgive your mom. She apparently is not a strong person. Apply for loans and financial aide and if need be, work and go to school a little at a time. You can do it! You can get yourself out of this mess and live a better life with God's help. The Lord sees this situation and will help you. I worked at a hamburger joint to finish school when I had no help and I did it the hard way, a little at a time but now I have two degrees. I didn't have a family to help me either but God saw my situation and He helped me. Stay in His Word. Find a good church and get prayer and encouragement from those who believe like you do.
