RE: Thanksgiving and other news

Father, be with Mel right now and protect her by the power of your name... send healing to her parents and make sure they're okay... Father, bring her ex-boyfriend into your presence and help him know you and the salvation you have for him... lift this depression from Mel's heart I pray in your Holy name Jesus, Amen

RE: Thanksgiving and other news

Continue your prayers for me and my family, and especially for my ex-boyfriend's salvation... I could not and will not be with anyone else but him... one of the members here told me a cute story and it inspired me a lot. And I'm really trying to build my steadfast faith and trust into having all, not some, ALL of my desires realized... It's really hard to be patient and to wait... but I'm trying... despite my sadness and wavering of faith the goes up, then down, then up again, I'm still pushing... In Jesus' Name... please help me... and grant the desires I very well want and need in my life. Amen.

RE: Thanksgiving and other news

Mel, we want the best for you here at this prayer site!
I am glad someone sparked inspiration as to miracle stories.
I have one also, God Does Workk Miracles!
Your nature appears that you are determined to seek the best from God for yourself, your family, & all in the name of Love.
There is nothing wrong with this!
To remain pure, of the flesh, of the heart, is wonderful & pleasing to HIM. It is our stories we share as Christians, the miracles we see along the way in our transforming, that are awesome!
Be at peace. & celebrate JESUS this Christmas, that he gave you a big heart to love. We know that is what you desire.. it will all work out in His Timing!
We live by faith not by sight. That can take on a whole new meaning as a Christian at times. Our rewards are eternal & Heaven Bound.
I think you get this. You are 19 & have set your sites very high.
I believe that most of all here at this prayer site, from the posts I read & what I write & believe, we want your salvation & for, MEL, to see how special, MEL is & to CHRIST.
Trust that HE WILL GIVE you the desires of your heart.. it's HIS TIMING, my dear!
Just go about being the best you can be for CHRIST & watch the miracles happen.. again & again.

RE: Thanksgiving and other news

Mel,

Don't give up hope just yet. Usually things get tougher as a way to test us. Think of it like when metal is molded. First, it's heated up, then the cool water is applied. It's beaten and perfected and process is repeated until it is just right. Glass and metals are purified in an identical manner. Basically, there's the initial trial that we go through (the heat), then everything seems to settle down, and then we are hit with another trial that seems worst than the first. It is all a purification process in order to get us to be molded the way the Lord would have us to be. Perhaps God is trying to get something in you to grow or attempting to get you to give up something. That's why I continue to recommend that you pray for His guidence. He will show you what to pray for--because He wants to answer your prayers--He will show you what to do while in your situation. Crying and worrying won't do any good--therefore, put it in God's hands. Allow Him to have the reins. Remember Christ said to take His yoke, because His burden is light.

The Lord only wants the best for you so do not give up. I kind of had the same kind of experience within the last few days. My friend, unfortunately, made a pass at me and he has a girlfriend. I was not receptive and I was quite frankly confused about it. It really hurts me, because I do not want to be used in such a way, even if he has a bad relationship right now (I don't particularly care for his girlfriend, but I respect her enough not to be an adulterer or a tempterous) and I have had feelings for him before. It's especially hard because I do care and I have a certain love for him--even if I'm not "in love."

I think it is probably the same thing you might be going through--a difficult trial that is meant to test you and mold you to be more like Him. Like me, you just have to trust that the Lord is in control and, after all, He's been God a loooooooong time and He knows what He's doing. Smile

Hope that this has been an encouragment for you. Hang in there and be strong.

Lost Love

I'm still building up hope, even when things are taking forever... but I'm still building my faith and hope to have the future that I desire to have. Nothing has changed on what I desire in my heart, nor will it ever... it's as pure and well as it can get. In Jesus name, Amen.

RE: Thanksgiving and other news

You're doing well Mel, for being 19 y.o., you are living @ home, but you are in college & pursuing the career of your dreams, you are staying pure, of flesh, of heart, believing in GOD, & love.
We transform in CHRIST, by HIS LOVE, over time. Stay close to GOD, to THE WORD, "love at all times," that you will know the, fruits, of The Holy Spirit, peace, love & joy. Part of the testing is that we remain strong in JESUS' WORD, even through our trials.
Bless Warrior
