Dear Friend, please join me in a prayer to the Lord:
Please, Lord, help me improve my relations with my manager. Please pray for him to not let his past insecurities,regret, and presuppositions prejudice his feelings towards me, and to help him overcome his unhappiness as well as to see the Light that is you.
Please let him see that, though I am young, I am capable and worthy of respect like every other colleague, not to be dismissed simply for my want of age/experience.
Please let him be supportive and more understanding towards my university studies (which are my #1 priority), and please let him see that by helping, not hindering, my studies (including study leave requests and flexible working hours), I could increase my knowledge and be of greater benefit to the organisation. Please remind him that that is the whole point to the cadetship programme that I am part of - not just some 'cheap labour'.
Please let him see that I do not take my cadetship lightly, that it has been very hard for me to balance the considerable work-hours with full-time study at top-notch grades, but I have persisted because I am committed to seeing it through.
