Please remind him that that is the whole point to the cadetship programme that I am part of - not just some 'cheap labour'.

Please let him see that I do not take my cadetship lightly, that it has been very hard for me to balance the considerable work-hours with full-time study at top-notch grades, but I have persisted because I am committed to seeing it through.
