Reconciliation of My Marriage

For the last 8 weeks, my wife Karen and I have been separated. We have been married for 20 years, are very best friends and true soul mates. I hurt my wife deeply 2 years ago, when I became very intoxicated and did not repel the advances of a woman/her friend and "made out" with her. Although I did NOT have sex or any kind of relationship with this woman, it was clearly wrong and very hurtful. Since that night, I have not had a drink and have done virtually everything in my power to show my wife that I am truly sorry. For she is the Absolute Love of My Life!

We are still very much in love, but my wife feels immense pressure from some family members to divorce. They have used this hurtful event as an opportunity to seek revenge for past grievances and to control her. While they are not bad people, this has been harmful to our relationship. I have great faith that my wife and I, with the help of the Lord Jesus Christ, will reconcile our marriage and eventually be even stronger and more in love (if even possible) than ever. As part of repairing my marriage, I shall also seek to reconcile with all members of our family. I do pledge to push aside my pride and ego, seek them out, and admit my role and shortcoming in this conflict.

I ask you to please pray for the Lord Jesus Christ to restore the trust, faith and marriage of Frank and Karen. That he allow them to live in a happy, healthy and loving marriage and family. That the Lord let no one or no thing ever stand between them, their love and marriage. Again, re-committed to their marriage, let this commitment be eternal and unbreakable.

Thank you for your prayers!
