I know this is an odd prayer request. It's the break from school, and I've checked out Augustine's "City of God." I'm generally a slow reader, but I really want to read this book, and I know it's one of the greatest foundational writings in the Christian faith. Please pray that God will help me to read it. Pray for the discipline to read through it, and pray that I'll understand and be transformed by the depth and genious of his message, without getting bogged down, and pray God will improve my reading, that I'll read through it at a good pace, and that I'll be more able to read books like that.

Lord I pray that you would help enable this person to recieve knowledge of who you are and bring them closer to you Jesus

Father, give this person super natrual power to read and comprehend anything that deals with You, Your Son, or the things of heaven. In Jesus name...Amen!
