By now you must have heard about one of the worst disasters in Asia's history. I want to report to you today how, with your help, Gospel for Asia is responding.

GFA Compassion Services teams are already on the scene helping the victims of Pakistan's massive floods
--a disaster that is impacting more lives than even the Asian tsunami of 2004.

The UN estimates that about 14 million people--including 6 million children--have been directly affected by Pakistan's runaway rivers, and one-fifth of the country is now under water. Entire villages have been wiped out, crops and livestock have been destroyed, and a variety of epidemic diseases threatens much of the population.

To make matters worse, the forecast is calling for more flooding over the next few days.

My friend, your earnest prayers and support are needed at this critical time. Your gift today will be an incredible blessing to the Pakistani people.

Guide them Father to be the hands and feet of Jesus and let all who are touched feel your presence, your love and your power. Through these efforts, if it be your will...bring revival to this country and this people and many souls into the Kingdom of God. In Jesus name...Amen!
