Hello,
My name is Scott and I am writing you to ask two requests if you would please.
1. Pray for me and my family
2. I need someone to take this prayer as our representative and share it and send it to anyone and everyone that is willing to pray for us.
Let me share just a little about my beliefs and where I am as a believer and spiritually. First, I am Christian (30 years) and believe with all my heart and soul that God is real and is the King of Kings. Jesus died on the cross for my sins and rose again. There is no doubt that I need Jesus for I am a sinner and have fallen away from God in sin many times over the past 30 years. I know that God is in control of everything and that there is nothing He cannot accomplish or achieve in His will. I believe in the gift and power of prayer. I also understand that God has already done more than what I deserve and that He owes me nothing. I can only hope He will hear this prayer and will find it in His will to honor this much needed request.
The past 10 years have been very tough and have progressively gotten worse. I was in the fire service in doing well but that changed when I was forced to leave because of budget cuts, politics, and the greed of man (the union) that decided to cut mine and many others jobs. There is much more to this story that caused great pain for I was lied about and threatened because I stood up against the union and leaders of the County and department. Even today six plus year’s later people still talk and say things about me and others that are painful and full of hate. The truth of this story is sad and many people went to jail and some even committed suicide over these terrible acts. I was off work for 9 months before I got another job teaching at a community college. This too ended three and half years later because of budget cuts. I have been out of work for 18 months now.
Also, during this time I experienced identity theft, predatory lending, loss of our home, both cars, and many of our possessions some that were given to my wife and I for our wedding. We needed to sale them just to live. Many of our friends have turned their back to us and we have even been attacked by the church and no longer go there because we stood up for something that was not Godly taking place in the church. We ask for help but there is very little to no help available. We have had many close friends and relatives that have also passed away during this time leaving our family very small. One very pain loss was my grandmother that passed away on Christmas day. All of these events have taken away the ones we love, our financial stability, home, career, friends and church. Financially we have lost over 300,000 dollars and our credit is completely ruined. Many people have left us and have mocked us because of our belief in God and this even includes family members such as brothers, sister and even parents who know of God but don’t believe. In fact, many find if funny and that we deserve such a life. As I said before I am a sinner and I don’t know what I have done to cause this but I can only say I stand for God and do the best I can. I am sure that I have done wrong and have not made perfect decisions in every situation and this being the case I have tried to ask for forgiveness for any of my wrong actions but to no avail.
I have a beautiful wife and three beautiful blessing, one girl and two boys. They are six, two and ten months. I thank God every day for my family, however our life and problems are taking a great toll on my wife and I and even the children even though we do all we can to not let them know and hear what is going on. I feel that God has forgotten us or is angry at me and I do not know why. I feel betrayed and lied too. I feel lost and forsaken. There have been many times that I have wished that God would take my life for the pain is and has been unbearable. I have cried out to God many times in tears and frustration only to have what I prayed about go exactly the opposite and I feel as if I am being mocked and laughed at. I feel and see the presents of evil every day and constantly battle these attacks. My spirit has become weak and my armed damaged and I have very little to hang onto. My hope is but a small flickering flame dim and wavering. I really truly believe in God and would/will die for His name but until that day comes I need Him to please show us mercy and grace and please hear this prayer. I do not know who to feel anymore and I have lost my identity of self and self-worth. I do not sleep well and when I do I have horrible dreams and sever night sweats. I often wake up with a migraine headache that causes me to even be sick to my stomach. I need Gods wisdom and strength and I need Him to show me how what and what He wants me to change. I need Him and desire to have Him close but I feel alone in the dark, cold, scared, and broken.
· Please, Please ask God to forgive us of our sins and for everyone else that has sinned against God.
· Please ask that God will hear and honor our prayer.
· Please pray that God will fill us with the Holy Spirit.
· Please ask that God will hear and honor our prayer.
· Please pray that God will give us His great wisdom.
· Please pray that God will give us His great strength.
· Please ask God to give us the gift and power of prayer.
· Please ask that God will bless our new business or find me other employment to care for my family.
· Please ask God to bless us financially.
