Prayer

Dear Prayer Partners,

I have always held the valuable prayers of brothers and sisters mediating prayers for the whole world. I have always been blessed by your prayers. As I am going through a tough time today between discerning to move with my in laws who have been maliciously gossiping about me and you have not treated me nice, who have tried to hamper mine and my husband's relationship. I am not sure if it is the right thing to move in with them or be far away from them yet still support them. Please Kindly pray for me and my husband who is a God's gift to me and he is very nice and understanding but his parents and the family have had somethings going on. I am also worried about my little daughter 15 months and concerned that she does not deserve to be raised in an unstable family. Pray that my husband gets discernment, because in the Bible it is said that Man shall leave his father and mother and be cleaved to his wife. I claim that promise for us and our lives. Please pray also for the discernment that I could get from our living God. My in laws names are Dinesh Pardhe and Padmini Pardhe. My husbands name is Nilesh Pardhe. Please kindly pray for me and my situation. Thanks so much. God Bless

RE: Prayer

Mrs. Pardhe, it would be a terrible mistake to move in with the people that are mistreating you. That is like throwing yourself into the fire and expecting not to get burnt. You would be putting your husband in the middle and asking him to choose sides. I advise you to loving share your concerns with your husband. I am sure he will understand your position. You do not want your own child to wittness the disprespect or your child will also learn to disrespect you. I pray Lord that you will protect this woman from entering into a situation that would put her marriage and child at risk. Give her and her husband the wisdom to discern the best route to take. Keep them from harmful words and help them to love those who hate them (Her). In Jesus name I pray.

RE: Prayer

I agree. I think letting your in-laws move in with you is a bad idea. If they are mistreating you, you should leave them. Then, as the Guest said, you husband will end up choosing sides... and I'm not trying to be the bearer of bad news or anything, but in these circumstances... the husband will end up choosing the in-laws... 'family comes first' they say, and it's true 80% of the time. Trust me.

But you're right. "Man shall leave his father and mother and be cleaved to his wife." I just hope that he does that as the Bible hath said. God Bless.

RE: Prayer

I pray for Nilesh Pardhe to be given discernment in this situation...and I pray that this wife be given a Godly voice to provide counsel to her husband. As his wife it is God's command that she be first in his life after God. Cleaving to her is God's plan and to put ourselves in the position to create conflict in that order is unwise. I believe therefore it is not a good thing to move in with the parent's as they are already in conflict at times with this wife. However...the question is why is this being considered? Is there illness or financial hardship being visited on these parents? The word also says honor thy mother and father that thy days should be long upon the earth. If there is illness...finding a way to provide some care to the parent's or to provide for some of their financial needs...such as groceries or paying a utility bill etc. might be helpful. However this can be done with the help of the Lord while maintaining their own home and not living with the parent's. I pray that as this woman speaks with her husband that he hears wisdom and not fear...and that his heart is prepared by you Father to be receptive. I also pray that these parent's mouths be shut to gossip of their own daughter in law or to unkind treatment of her. It brings dishonor on THEM and THEIR SON for them to treat his wife in that manner. sHOW THEM FATHER WHAT THEY LOOK LIkE TO YOU WHEN THEY DO SUCH A MEAN AND INCONSIDERATE THING. In Jesus name...Amen!
