I have a friend whose husband molested their child and the courts are making a decision tomorrow about what is to be done with the Father. There's evidence that this guy has been a long time pedophile.

For some freakish reason, the Judge that presided over the initial custody adjudication threw the case out claiming that they could not establish where and when the child was abused and that the testimony of an Expert Witness (The Department of Human Services Social Worker) was hearsay, even though the child graphically described the abuse from the father during play therapy sessions. The child is too young to have any knowledge of adult encounters and DHS founded the father as a child molester. If you know anything about the child abuse system, you know that having a Founded case is rare - and yet the judge still threw the case out - thus allowing visitation with the father to continue.

The other travesty in this situation is that the father claims to be a Christian, and there is a possibility that he has been abusing other children within his sphere of influence.

Tomorrow the Judge is being requested to reconsider his decision.
Please pray for God's will to be done and that Justice is served.

Dear Jesus, We pray that there will be justice in this case, that they will look at everything and that if it is true then it be determined by the courts. Dear Jesus, you know all and know what happened. Please we pray you keep this child safe. Please we pray that the truth will be known, for we do not want an innocent man to pay for something he did not do. We leave this in your loving hands, that all will be looked at and justice will prevail. Please be with this family and comfort them. Please protect them and this child.
