I dont know where to turn to, so I thought I'd try and get some people to pray for me/her. About 6 months ago I started talking to a lady that was living with her ex partner they have 3 kids together. We spoke all the time together sometimes 8-10hrs a day, stay up all night talking and facetiming. She came on a holiday to visit, she had to hire a nanny to look after her boys becasue her ex, has never wanted to look after them... long story short. When we decided to make a go of 'us' and see where God would lead us and she told her ex and her family she was moving out, he decided that he wanted to make a go of it again and try and to get things back on track. So now her family have pressured her to get back with him...and to keep the family together. Her kids are 2 and 3 yrs old. Everyone in her family is tell her to give it another shot with him, she's told me that she loves me and that whenever she sees her future its with me and her kids, that she's bat **** crazy about me and totally loves me.
However she's gotta try and see if there's anything there between her and her ex that they can build on for the sake of the kids. She's got a few things that she wants him to change, eg not smoke, lose weight and get healthy, balance the farm life and family life, go on holidays together etc... there's some other stuff that important to her, and not to him but I can already see that he's going to say yes to everything and not do it... just to get her back.
So we've decided to have some time apart. Trying not to contact each other at all, however its so freaking hard... To see if she can 'figure' exactly what she wants. I've told her, all I want is her to be happy. To live her best life. If thats back with him so be it, if its with me so be it. However we both know that if she goes with him that I wont be in her life at all.
I guess I'm just asking for prayer in the following ways.
- God will guide her in what to do.
- She wont forget how she feels about me.
- That my heart will heal and I'll be able to remain strong during our 'no contact' period.
- She won't fall for his words.
I'm happy for anyone to contact me or give me some advice or insight that they might have..
