I have just persevered in a great temptation regarding my husband. He danggled a "carrot" in my face in regards to us possibly restoring our relationship if I would conceed to reestablishing intimate relations with him, but with no promises. Then he said if I didn't do it he would find someone else that would. He has been trying to manipulate me with this all week and as I brought it to the Lord, I finally got the strength to stop discussing it with him and say no. His motives are not that of a husband but are consistent with that of a prodigal. God has revealed to me that I cannot make that compromise and I must continue in my stand. I am so hurt but yet so thankful to God that I did not fall, for my pain would be much greater. There is much work that needs to be done in his heart. Please pray for him and for me, as I am being spiritually attacked to make all kinds of compromises that would destroy my walk and stand for my marriage, husband, and family.

Also, my friend Vivia and her husband Rob need your prayers. Their marriage is in trouble. Rob has a misguided view about God's love and God's view of him, based, no doubt, upon his abusive childhood with his father. He is also putting his faith in material wealth/ money instead of God and the entire family is suffering from it.

Father I approach your throne Grace to ask you to remove ALL hinderances to these marriages. Remove those expectations, demands, and attitudes that are unrealistic and only serve to divide relationships and destroy marriages. Bring mental clarity to the issues and help all parties in both marriages, to patiently communicate more effectively with each other with no manipulation, or jockeying for control. Remove this rebellious spirit that creeps in. Father I ask you for your spirit to be at work and soften hearts, teach them how you intended marriages to be and how it is to be one flesh. The two shall be two no more, but one, as the Father and Son are ONE. Father I ask you to complete the unity between husband and wife, in Jesus name, Amen.

Lord, please let thes marraige be according to ur will. Remove the problems in between and give them pease. May no one be hurted. May the blessing of God be with them. May the spirit that attack them run away. In the name of Jesus, Amen

Lord, please restore the love of these marriages. Lord, let them put You first in their lives. Lord, help this guest stand bold for You. Help her with the burdens that she carries. In this I ask inYour precious name,Jesus.
