At this moment Greece has no Government and is unlikely to have one for some time.
If Greece collapses financially, the whole of Europe is expected to go down with it.
If that happens, the whole world wd probably be in a MASSIVE Depression in a few months' time.
This site wd be swamped with desperate pleas from starving jobless homeless people.

Please pray that Greece gets out of its trouble soon, that God has mercy on all of us, every single one of us without exception. Because this wd hit us all in bad ways. No one wd escape.
If you have a job, be grateful for it, and stick to it for a month or two until Greece gets through this. Remember: Last on, first off.

Fellow Intercessors: Ask God if He wants to put this on your heart. A Recession/Depression is so terrible. Families split and break apart. Many lose jobs and homes and starve. No money for Gospel distribution or any evangelism. I've had very little sleep the last two nights praying for this. I sure wd appreciate any who wd take up the burden with me. History tells us that the kingdom which overcame Greece was the kingdom of Rome. And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.

Daniel emphasized the feet and toes of iron and clay, not another separate kingdom. This mixture is symbolic of smaller nations coming after the collapse of Rome. And, these smaller nations would not cling together, just as iron and clay do not cling together. Over time, barbarians wore down the borders of Rome, and by A.D. 476 Rome was completely broken apart. Western Europe was divided into ten parts within the old boundaries of the Roman Empire. These were the Lombards, the Alemanni, the Anglo-Saxons, the Ostrogoths, the Brugundians, the Franks, the Suevi, the Vandals, the Visigoths, and the Heruli. This was the beginning of the modern nations of Europe; some strong, some weak. Seven of them still exist today in Europe. For example, the Anglo-Saxons became the English, the Franks became the French, the Alemannians became the Germans, and the Lombards became the Italians.

The prophecy said that these nations would not cling together. People have tried for centuries to unite Europe by different means. But, the prophecy says that these nations would not cling together.

Today there are many calls for a united Europe. The European Common Market, the common currency-Euro, all in an effort to unite Europe. But, politically, they will not cling together! Scripture says it, and God's Word always comes true.

However, there is a prophecy for uniting Europe, and the world, spiritually, in a counterfeit world kingdom. There is a church leader who plans to be the head of this New World Order. In the process of forming this New World Order, persecution will again be implemented to force the will of people. And, this will usher in the event of all ages, the second coming of Jesus Christ. This is the fifth kingdom described in Daniel 2. Dan 2:44 "And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. 45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure."

Notice verse 44, where it says "in the days of these kings". In the days of the nations of Europe being partly iron and partly clay, Jesus will come. We are living in those days today! As we continue with Daniel 7 and Revelation 13, this will be made clear.

I have seen hugely convincing arguments that interpret those verses completely differently.
And that what you have written stifles prayer.
Discouraging prayer is not of God: "Pray without ceasing."

And for nations like Greece:
"I urge then FIRST OF ALL, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgivings be made for ALL people, for national leaders, and all in authority, so that we may lead a PEACEFUL AND TRANQUIL LIFE in Christian goodness and seriousness."

That's 1 Timothy 2 verses 1 and 2. And Paul goes on to link this with EVANGELISM--How God wants everyone saved.

I only know that Greece has just voted for extremes--including Nazis (6%)--and the biggest party gave up trying to form a government after only 3 hours. Now an extremist left-wing coalition is trying, but as the Communists won't join it, it seems to be failing. The huge loan that will stop Greece from going bankrupt won't be given unless Greece has a Govt to give it to. Most likely there will be fresh elections in June. The country seems to be descending into chaos. Greece needs PRAYER as never before in its long long history.

He declined to comment on what action the Amsterdam-based bank will take in the event of a payment default on the notes maturing May 15."

The poor Greeks! Businesses are closing down, one in 5 workers can't find a job, even old people have taken cut after cut in their pensions. Tourists have stopped coming because workers are always on strike for enough pay to live on...

Father in Heaven I pray for those people in Europe that are suffering financally and spiritually, May they come to know the salvation through Christ. Lord I ask that the USA return to you and serve you. May the sarcastic sardonic scoffers be shown to be the fools they are. Lord I ask for the Holy spirit to move mightly through the USA and Canada. Whose side are you on; the devil or God the Father. You are calling God the devil and a liar? God have mercy on you. You don't believe the Book of Revealation which is the Word of God? This site doesn't promote the gospel of Jesus Christ. I also noticed most prayer warrior as they called themselves with that title; pray a generic prayer which is not in the Spirit of God. I was reading some of the prayer responds and it is the same as everyone else. How can that be called pray in the Spirit.

Most of you really need to read and study the Bible more and ask the Holy Spirit to give you understanding. Do not be angry with me, I just want to remind you not to be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If you trust God the Father, why do you glorify yourselves instead the Father. Amen I agree with these prayers. Its already happening but God is in control. As Christians we are not to worry...He will take care of us and Not take the mark of the beast!
