Kathlene and I started attending Venture Church about 9 mo ago, coming from San Jose Open Bible. We found comfort in Chips words and started attending regularly About 9 weeks back she started attending a small group at Calvary for divorce support (she has been divorced for over 3 yrs now) This group told her she needs to be alone to heal after we had been dating for about 2 1/2 years now and her intent was to marry me as an Ephesians 5:22 woman - until she came to this group. This group knows nothing of our 35 year history starting off in high school as boyfriend and girlfriend, and all the struggles we ave been through to get where we were at before she started attending this group. I don't think they realized that they broke up a serious committed relationship with generic words of advice for recently divorced couples, While this information is good, it doesn't apply to someone 3 years later.
This is my prayer: Please pray that I am reunited with my girlfriend Kathlene in Christs love and forgiveness, she is my partner for life as she has professed many times. She is strong and was once committed very deeply to me. But through this group she has been easily swayed by fear and doubt of the unknown. Please eliminate anything that comes between us and let our love shine by keeping us together through marriage until death. May she come back to me before Christmas and our relationship be relieved of any difficulties. May our communications be clear and our love for one another be ever stronger for each other. She has my love, she has my soul and I cannot live without My Love, I cannot die without my soul for i would rather spend a day in hell than a lifetime without My Love. May we unite through matrimony, and our love continue to be blessed through Christ, for He is risen!
