After 4 months since our breakup, my ex girlfriend Whitney is still chasing me around but isn't following through. No, it's not because she is playing cruel games. It's because she is extremely confused about how she feels about me. She is showing all of the signs that she is still in love with me, she still has deep feelings toward me, she still cares deeply about me, she wants me back very badly, and she's having serious 2nd thoughts about the breakup. Everyone around has expressed this to me several times as well. I feel the exact same about her as she does about me. It's like we're pulling each other back and forth. She is also now surrounded by people who are telling her otherwise, thus confusing how she really feels. These are not so good people. They are taking advantage of her vulnerability.

Please pray that God heals Whitney's heart, that He heals her pain, anger, confusion, mistrust and bitterness? Please pray that God opens her heart, mind, soul and spirit and reveals to her that she is truly in love with me, she truly has deep feelings and cares deeply for me. Please pray that God reveals to her that she truly wants me back and that He makes a way for her to come back where there seems to be now way? Please pray that Satan and all of the darkness is removed from within her and all around her forever?

Father, bind up the wounds in Whitney's heart and eliminate all confusion from her. I ask that this young man consider the model that God has provided us for dating...and ask that in his prayers determine if this relationship might benefit by following it. There are 3 phases to Christian dating:

Spiritual Oneness-Is this couple of one Spiritual Accord. Did you pray about this relationship individually and together? Did you seek God's plan for you as a couple while dating. This is what God intends.
Mental and Emotional Oneness-Is this couple of one Mental and Emotional Accord? In essence is each one comfortable with the mental processes; the way that they think things through of the other? Is each comfortable with the range of emotion and how love and tenderness is expressed...or does one go without something emotionally so the other can be comfortable?
Marriage Physical Oneness-Sexual relations as husband and wife

It is very important to pray to determine if this is the relationship God has for you as individuals and also as a couple to determine God's will for our lives. It is this Spiritual Oneness that actually acts as the adhesive for long term relationships...without this they do not last. I encourage you to talk with the Lord about this.
