For Richard:
Please pray for Richard that he will be delivered from the bondage of sin and darkness and be saved. That God bless him with brokenness burdening him to pray and read His Word and He will open his eyes and unstop his ears so that he will see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, Who is the image of God, teaching him that it is by grace that he has been saved through faith, not of himself, nor of works, that it is the gift of God that no one should boast, and that there is no other way and no other name in which he can call on to be saved. Pray Richard will be filled with the knowledge of God's will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that he may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God: strengthened with all power according to His glorious might for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience, joyously giving thanks to Him Who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the Saints in Light.

For us:
Pray also for an end to the conflict between Richard and me and a breaking of the hold strife has on us. For God to take away the hurt and armor we've put up to protect ourselves and lift us out of the pit of unforgiveness. That He will speak through us so that our words reflect His love, peace, and reconciliation. Also for this wall between us to be torn down and that God teach us how to walk through it enabling us to rise up from this paralysis and move into the healing and wholeness He has for us.

For Amber:
Please pray for our daughter, Amber, that God would give her a heart that obeys Him, a longing to spend time with Him and in His Word listening for His voice. That God would shine His light on any secret sin and rebellion that is taking root in her heart, so it can be identified and destroyed. That God will deliver her from pride, selfishness, and rebellion, helping her to resist idolatry, rebellion, stubbornness, and disrespect, and that He would humble her and turn her heart toward both Richard and me and enable her to honor and obey Richard and myself.
