I have a daughter that since she was little was always rebellious. No matter how much attention we have given her and helped her. Even in her adult life now she continues to be an angry person, and have taught her sons to be the same. She has made a mess of her life and now blames everyone else but herself. I love both my daughters the same for I hate to see any favor isms between parents and child relationships. Yet my daughters are like day and night.
She took off and moved far away with three of her sons to be near a man she met on the net. Left her husband and a good paying job in a big city. Now she is having lots of problems financially, and with her younger son, who will be eighteen soon who has never held a job.
He called us for help late last weekend and we tried to help him over the phone for they live hundreds of miles away. He is either mentally sick or using some kind of drug. We were afraid he will hurt himself and let his mother know since she has moved in with the man she met on the net, after divorcing her husband who was a drunk and weed user. She is in another town away from her son and left him in the care of his older brother who is working but not making too much. She has thrown this son away and seems not to care, we hate to report her to the authorities and are praying for God to touch her heart.
She claims she has done nothing wrong, and that her son is just a spoiled brat. That he is not with her because he doesn't want to leave his friends behind. I know he can't stand to be near her boyfriend, and her boyfriend can't stand any of my grandsons, specially the younger one, nor want anything to do with him. So she has chosen this stranger over her son who still needs her.
She was raised in a Christian home with plenty of love as was her sister, but she chose the wrong path. Still we tried to advice her and help them whenever we could. She takes all these as criticism, and gets very angry at any advise we give her. She hears half of what we say, then turns it around to mean something different from what we are saying. Then when things go wrong she blames us, and accuse us of loving her sister more than her.
Her sister has educated herself well, is a professional, has traveled around the world, she has paid for this herself for she has a very good salary. While my younger daughter quite college after a few months of attending it, moved in with a boyfriend, and made the wrong kind of friends. She says now, she hates her sister and blames us for her life being a mess. That the reason why she really moved away was to get away from all of us.
We have never interferer in her adult life or how she raised her children, for we know only God can touch her heart. So we pray, show her our love, and helped her when we could. Except for the last few years when our financial situation is not what it used to be. Since then they e-mail us only when their birthdays are coming up, or before Christmas to remind us they are still around. After a few times of us just being able to send them only a card the children don't even acknowledge us anymore. Only now when this one asked us for help. They had never thanked us for any of the gifts we had given them, for they were raised to have a mentality of entitlement.
Tomorrow she turns fifty one, and I hate to see her not talking to us. She won't even answer our calls, and has instructed her sons not to talk to any of us. We called our grandson to see how he is doing now, his answer was his mother would be angry if he talks to us, and hanged up. My heart is so overwhelm and I would appreciate any prayers concerning this situation. My hope and prayer is to have a good relationship with them and to see them well and serving our Lord.

Lord Jesus you know how much we have tried to help my daughter, and make her see the light. You also know what kind of life she has chosen for herself and her sons. Please touch her heart and let her see a better way of living and give her the wisdom to make the right decisions in her life and for her sons. Let her see her son still needs her more than that man she is living with now. A man that doesn't work, whom she is even helping him pay for his new car, golf country club, and gym memberships. When she is making now only one fourth of what she used to make before moving there to be with him. Oh Lord open her eyes for she won't listen to any of us. That man is divorced also but doesn't work so he won't have to pay his children any support. Let her see he is using her while her children need her more than he.
You know my younger grandson needs guidance but we are too old to take that responsibility over. When he was very young she won't even let us bring him, or his borthers to visit us so we won't take them to church with us. Heal him of whatever is wrong with him, or break any addictions he may have. Lord bring peace, harmony, forgiveness, and real love into their life, and reconciliation on her part toward us, who only wanted the best for them and to help them.
May she remember how much we have done for them, and not hold it against us now when we are old and I'm not well for not taking the responsibility of her son. Now he needs professional help and she is ignoring it. Have her look and find the right person that can help him. Have your perfect will be done in their life's and may they all come to know you as their Lord and Savior before it's too late for any of them.

Bless those who will join me in prayer for this situation and answer any request they may also have of their own. I pray in Jesus name.
