Today I am wrestling with giving her plenty of space ie, don't try and hug her, kiss her, be close, be around all the time, try and do everything for her. I'm even wondering if I'm in the way of God being able to work on her. Join me in prayer that I will do what God wants me to do and not cling to what I want and do things how I want, and please continue to stand with me fo rthe restoration of my marriage.

I am in the exact same situation. God has told me to be still and I have done exactly that. I have stopped trying to convince her and stopped jumping to conclusions. God showed me that the harder I tried, the worse it became and that acting on emotion only pushed her farther away. I pray that you recognize that and listen to what He is telling you, don't make the same mistakes I did and ignore His word. I pray that your pain is eased and that you accept the situation as it currently is until God reveals his plan. Trust in him, brother. Only He knows what the future holds. I will keep both you and your family in my prayers.

Great is our God! We will continue to pray and agree that He will speak to your wife's heart. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Greater is He that is in you, than he who is in the world. Seek first His Kingdom, and all these things will be added to you. Refute the lies of the devil with God's word, just as Jesus did when He was tempted by Satan. For it is written...

And praise God that you are walking closer to God during this time. This situation has improved your relationship with Him, and the angels are singing! Let your entire life increase in intimacy with your relationship with Jesus! How He yearns for us to be close to Him!

May God help you and Bless your marriage. We know how you feel as my husband also has depression. Do seek help from a counsellor(we are going to) and if your depression is treatable take the medication.

I am a psychiatric nurse but really struggle to live with a depressed husband and know that counselling is needed, and prayer over past hurts.

So don't give up but pray and suggest you and your wife go to counselling so that she knows you are serious about saving your marriage!

You are so lucky to have children. Do it for them too...and tell your wife I know how she feels but not to give up on God and you,,,as long as you are willing to seek help.

May God help you both and Bless your family.

Lord help this man be able to convinced his wife of how repented he is for the way he treated her in the past. Also heal all the hurt his wife Evelyn has from her past and from now. Heal her heart and wash her mind with calvary's blood so that she can forget the awful past. May she realize that we are all human and deserve a second change. Give this man strength to coninue working on himslef and have him be deliver from that dependant, demanding, and controlling spirit so that he can have a normal loving relationship in his life. Protect the children involved also in this marriage Lord and I pray this won't affect them for the rest of their life's. Yes Lord put a hedge of thorns around the whole family. Bind them together once more with you Love and let nothing or anyone be able to separate them ever again from you or from each other. Have them make you Lord of their life and marriage. I ask and thank you in Jesus Christ Precious Name so that you may be Glorify Heavenly Father, Amen! Warrior

Father in Heaven, We will not waiver in our requests to You, as You are faithful and just to forgive us from our sins, and cleanse us of all unrighteousness. Your glory is so great and powerful! Your justice is purer than the whitest of white...Your voice shakes the mountains and the foundation of the earth...From everlasting to everlasting, You are God! We give You all the glory and praise Lord! Speak to this woman's heart, Father. For Your will is that marriage does not end in divorce. You have taught us that it is because of our hardened hearts that we divorce, so I plead with You Father that you will soften this woman's heart, and renew her relationship with her husband. Deliver them from this evil and separation from You, and give them joy and peace, serving You for the rest of their lives. All for Your glory and Kingdom! In Jesus' most precious name, Amen

Thank you all for the continued prayers. We woke up today and my wife had a troubled look on her face. I asked what was wrong and she said "I was up all night thinking about all the things that have hurt me, that have made me angry, and I want you to go already." She said that if I won't go she will.

Not sure what is going to happen I'll leave the house before I push her to move someplace and make things harder on the kids. Either way, I am going to stand for our marriage until I'm replaced. As long as she's not with someone else there is hope that God can restore us. She said "You can't fix us" and I told her she was right, that all i could do was work on myself, pray, and with help from above we could be better than ever before, she didn't have an answer for that one. Please continue to pray. I truly believe that God is the only one who can save my family.

Lord please comfort this man who has repented for his wrong-doings of the past. Please also speak to his wife's heart to forgive him. Let her realize that marriage is not meant to end in divorce even though her heart is hardened, and remind her that anyone who divorces and remarries commits adultery, according to Your word. Let them both be renewed in a most intimate relationship with You, and be renewed with each other. Let this experience be used for Your glory and a testimony to others of Your mercy and grace. In Jesus' name, Amen
