Please pray God will give my husband a chance to go overseas. He has been in the Army for eight years, and after all his duty he has never gone over. Every time he was supposed to, his chance was taken away from him. He wants to prove himself as a soldier. This would also allow us a great financial gain, we would pay off our debt, and give us a new start. HE DESERVES THIS! HE WANTS TO FIGHT FOR OUR COUNTRY!

Those who try to prove themselves usually fall. Prove to God almighty that you cannot do anything without Him. God's planned for his life may not be the same as yours but seek God's will first. When my son was deployed to Iraq, this is what I told him; I am not going to worry about you because I lifted you up to the Lord. Whatever you have to do in Iraq; do it for the Lord and not for yourself trying to prove how great you are with your background and excellent training. Whitney, I pray that you got my message. Thank God for what you have right now.

Please pray this: "Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for dying on the Cross for me. Please come into my heart in a fresh new way and give me the ability to live as I should, a life that is pleasing to you. Grant me your peace, and let your shield of protection be over us all day and night. I have confidence in You, that You will be my Shepherd and provide what You see I need all the days of my life, as I live for You. Thank You, Lord Jesus, amen."

Pray that often, and read Psalm 23 and the final part of Romans 8 beginning with "If God is for us, who can be against us?"
