RE: My Marriage continued

Peace be still and know that I am God...thus saith the Lord...I bind up in the name of the most high and only living God, dark spirits that would stir up dissension among the body of Christ. There is not right or wrong in prayer...we are all led to pray by the Holy Spirit. It is he who filters our thoughts and places upon our hearts what we should pray. Just as in marriage it is not people that are creating confusion here...but momentary oppression from powers and principalities in high places. We can ALL be oppressed as while the Holy Spirit in dwelling within us prevents possession of the saved...any of us can be oppressed which is why we must be watchful and remind one another when we see an attack. Guests...EACH of you were on track AND appropriate in your original posts. An extrapolation of the concepts in Proverbs 31 versus 10-17 will tell us that. What has happened as I pray it seems is that each of you ...AS HAVE ALL OF US in our lives...reacted to what you viewed as criticizing each of your prayers one to the other. Personalizing, name calling and threatening to leave our places as God's warriors is not coming from the sweetness of The Spirit. Let us remember God's mandate...to be kind and forgiving of one another. Forgive that you shall be forgiven. We are not always going to agree...but if we stay focused on God...and on his WORD...(and in his word BOTH of your posts were worthy) we can present our very different thoughts because the Holy Spirit will be in control of them. and when taken together they have more power than any one of us can bring! I pray and ask each of you to pray over this also...and extend the olive branch of peace to one another apologizing one to the other and let us get on with the business of interceding. We all make mistakes and we all have discord...but let us show the world WHO WE ARE by practicing God's basic principles...and the most basic of these is forgiveness. I build you both up in spirit with the word of God and all others that have read these posts with prayer...and look forward to seeing words of reconciliation from you both. There is no problem or disagreement bigger that our God! I love you both and all that come to this board in the name of Jesus! Amen!

RE: My Marriage continued

I did appologize (see my post reply) as I did not mean any harm, that is also whyI went on & on, as I have been through abuse, it is very painful. I also hardly ever ask for prayers here because if he reads here, so I have kept it more in replies to others as it helps me, & in my own healing.
Life is about our healing, yes it is about forward but everyone posting a request is posting of what is (that was also my rant/ I am newly divorced & it is difficult/very painful).
My replies over the last #'s of months have come from a place of wisdom. I do not hate my ex, I loved him, I still do love him. But I am also never going to go back & I am sure neither is he! That is no longer an option.
& as much as one may pray that all marriage are reconcilable they are not always so. I had hoped so, but anyways, that is beside the point (after what ended up years of wanting this/ it never happened).
SO, my replies come from my experiences & I RARELY EVER draw the conversations to this, because it does not really help me, but where I feel healed is that I am healed in CHRIST. I can help others from my vantage point, what I have been through in life, the healing from this/ my experiences.
At this point, staying here/ replying is no longer an option.
There was a thread about a week ago that was somewhat of an attack the posts that had been written, & again today.
I feel that since there is no moderator & that there is contention in the forum, that it is best I leave.
I also ask that it be respected that I choose to leave.. I imagine the poster that thinks I am puttign people down may be happy & my ex if he reads here.. & ok so that is my frank honest opinion..
but it makes no difference to me really because I have CHRIST.
I have always been VERY opposed to arguements that are not done in a way of sharing opinions. As I say I came in my heart for concern that the poster (orig) would feel upset by a call to beauty or at least I wanted to (because of my experience) speak to the fact that during this situation it is not hardly ever about the partner that is left & their looks or making a nice meal.. that was my concern.
I would not change my orig comments on here, as I felt she needs to be hugged & lifted up.. & I didn't feel I was putting down the other reply. But I did say I am sorry if it was taken as a put down or personal attack because it was not.
I am a kind person, laid back, I really do genuinely care about others.
Those that know me, my family & friends I get along with great.
We never argue, there are no problems.. other than the problems of life that come about, but not any problems getting along.
I did not have these problems till I was married. & I still wasn't going to quit. He did.
Thus, I am quite aware here are spirits/ of good & evil & I believe it is time that I find another place to pray.. that what I am posting would bother someone here, is enough for me to leave. I pray that this forum is not led this direction anymore. There are a few that do reply more in length. As I say I rarely ever draw to myself in a personal way as in asking for prayers.. I have been holding much inside here, & that I do also have JESUS, it is better to give & my healing comes from a place of healing.
So, I pray that everyone is @ peace, & I will find another spot that is moderated... it is not about me, or you, it is about GOD.
I know this. I am completely at peace.
If I hurt anyone, I did not do it intentionally & I am sorry if I did!!!!!
I mean that from the bottom of my heart.
But it is best I find another place to post. I do not care to be told that my posts put people down, there is no moderator here, if there were it would be up to them to say so.. & because of this situation I will go to a moderated forum. It is my choice. Take care &
God Bless you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RE: My Marriage continued

Lord it's been a few weeks I too have seen so much judging in this board and arguments over the prayers posted here for others. You know we come here with a heart full of love for those hurting and in need of prayers. Please help us to concentrate on our mission here and not hurt one another. I agree with Adoring1, I also will like to add for us to pray for wisdom when we pray so that we can be sensitive to others when we pray. If in the past I have hurt anyones feelings I ask for forgiveness from you and from God. Depart from us any evil spirits trying to destroy this ministry Lord. I pray your perfect will be done in our lives, our spirits, and this board in Jesus Christ Precious Name, as I thank you in advance Heavenly Father to whom all the Honor, the Glory, and the Power belongs, Amen! And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

RE: My Marriage continued

Tonight my husband came over to see Ethan. It was a good night. One of the bests since everything happened. He made it a point to conversate with me. He played with Ethan and Ethan was soooo "talkative" cooing and scretching and laughing!! It was so fun to see! I pray that this made my husband realize just how much he is missing in our lives. I dont know if it was just my imagination but I would catch him taking glimpses at me. Could be just wishful thinking, I dont know. I saw God all over my sons face when he was "talking" with daddy. I wonder if it was God showing my husband how much he is missing. He hurts for him to call me by my name because he always called me baby. Our counseling session is next thursday and I pray pray pray that he shows up. Please continue praying for our marriage and his willingness to work things out. There is so much potential for our marriage to be happy. I know HE IS ABLE!!
BTW in response to some pots... I wouldnt say I let myself go...... I lost over 30 lbs quickly after having my baby. Am I 110 lbs like I used to be in high school? no but i havent let myself go.

RE: My Marriage continued

Praise God from whom all blessings flow for this visit...and thank you for Father for making it a pleasant one. Father...please move on the heart of this husband that he will attend the counseling session next Thursday. Father guide the counselor that they might see the truth of what the needs are in this man and this woman that they may be an instrument in your hands to be used to facilitate the healing process. Let each of them be open to truly hearing the other without judgment but rather with empathy and Agape love. Father let no force of the enemy keep this session from happening. In the name above all names...Jesus I pray...Amen!

RE: My Marriage continued

God, anything is possible with U and I pray for Jessica now that she is able to mend her marriage. I thank U Lord that she is Ur child and that she has Ur protection and love upon her. Give her peace God and give her the right words to say at the right time. I also pray for her husband and believe that U can soften his heart and surround him with a hedge of angels that will guide him to make the right decision. In Jesus' name - Amen

RE: My Marriage continued

Heavenly Father continue to touch Ethan's heart and have him attend the meeting on Thursday. Let him see his error in leaving his wife and son. Put in him the desire to come back home to stay for good and be the husband and father you intended him to be. Give Jessica strength from above, comfort and wisdom Lord as she waits on you. We thank you Lord for his visit and how things went along. Protect and provide for her and her son at all time while you have your perfect will be done in their lives, and marriage. In Jesus Christ Precious Name I pray, and thank you in advance Heavenly Father to whom all the Honor, the Glory, and the Power belongs, Amen! Warrior
