Please join me in prayer for the restoration of my marriage. My wife Evelyn continues to make ready to live on her own. i have been out of the house for 2 and a half weeks. She says she is done and nothing is going to change that. That she can never feel for me again.
She has opened her own bank account, got her own cell phone because she says she doesn't want be to see her calls, that they are her private business.
She has stopped wearing her wedding ring at all. She told me she is not going to pretend or put on a show, she says there is no point in it.
She did meet with the pastor's wife and says she is going to keep doing that. I am meeting with pastor at least once a week and talking by phone several other times a week.
I asked about our marriage vows and she said "I'm not doing anything" So I thank God for that still holding!!
I pray that God please change my heart and Evelyn's heart to make us the spouses for each other that he calls for in his word. I pray he heal the hurt and anger in her heart. I pray that every obstacle and barrier in her heart be broken and removed, that she hear God's word and seek his will for her life.
I pray that every one and everything in her life that would come against the restoration of our marriage, that would stand in its way, be removed from her life.
I pray for God to cover her in protection. To protect her from situations that would threaten our marriage vows, that would expose her to guys hitting on her and trying to steal her away. I pray that a barrier be placed between her and any man that would try and "get with her" that would try and seduce or date her.
I pray for the protection of our wedding vows and ask God to work in Evelyn's heart so that she continues to honor them.
I pray God use everyone and everything in her life to draw her to him and restore our marriage. I pray that God use our children to speak to her and resotre our marriage and put our family back together.
Finally I pray that God watch over me and give me the peace to stay out of the way and let him work. To trust him and have faith that he can do this, that he will do this.
Please join me in prayer.
