Dear Sister, I agree with you in this prayer. Wait upon the Lord and don't ever accept anyone that you are not 100% sure has been sent by Him. He will confirm it to you in many ways, dreams, visions, and most of all, that still small voice of the Holy Spirit. Marriage is very difficult even at best and if you settle for second best, you will find it not only difficult, but very unhappy. May the Lord give you the right one for you in the Name of Jesus! I wish someone had warned me before I took that step. I was actually very happy as a single mother but I was unable to fully TRUST God to be my all in all. I remarried and it has been a difficult road. I pray this does not happen to you so be very very sure.
