marriage in trouble

My husband Josh emailed me in May that he feels like something is missing and he does not think the family life is for him. Since then we have had very little contact through a few short emails of him telling me just basicly that he is alive. I have continued to pray that my marriage will be restored and that he will come home to me and our kids and realize our love, but so far nothing and I losing all hope. I am so tired of this constant ache in my heart. I am now thinking maybe it would be best for me to just end this so that i can move on with my life. I really want my marriage to work because love Josh with all my heart, but I just feel likits been 3 months with no progress and my kids need teir mom back because it seems as though they have already lost 1 parent. Please pray thamy marriage can be restored and that i can get a sign from god to show me what to do.

RE: marriage in trouble

Father God...please bring this woman your peace. We cannot hear you when our emotions are raging, when we are distraught...it is why you teach us in your word...peace be still and know that I am God. Your word also teaches that one of the things you delight in is our request of you for wisdom and you promise that if we ask, you will give it. Father once you have quieted her heart...show her in a way that she cannot mistake what you would have her to do. Father...remind her that in your time...3 months is but a millisecond...and that she is not to question the time...but to USE it to perfect her relationship in you. Please teach this woman how to pray. You do not love as we do...EROS is not part of your agenda...as you are spirit and not human Father...we must love in an Agape way unconditionally...love enough to pray for this husband's return to you...love enough to batter heaven not for his return to the marriage at this time...because clearly he is not ready...he is not mature enough to sustain commitment...but rather pray for him to put his eyes on you and his life in your hands...you cannot grow him up until he returns and takes instruction from you. Solomon's words are are so on point here...there is a time to embrace and a time to be far from embraces. Help this woman to understand the principles that she must grasp to pray in a way that empowers you to act! Father comfort her...show her your love...show her your care and show her that you are her spouse during this time...and that whatever your will in this situation...if she waits on you...she will come to know it and be in perfect peace when she takes action~ Thank you for all you will do in this woman's life Father...protect her and her child! In Jesus holy name...Amen!

RE: marriage in trouble

God I lift you this woman and man in prayer. Please be with this man and help him to see you. Help him to know that walking away from his family is not in your will. Help him to understand that you bless marriage and that you bless unity. Please help him to begin seeking your face God, that he turns to you and hears your message. Please prepare this woman for her husband to come back home. Teach her about forgiveness and prepare her to forgive him. Help her to understand that she needs to keep focused on you and not her situation even though the situation is very difficult and seems impossible. Please remind her that when things seem impossible, that's when God is working a miracle. Thank you in advance Jesus for your protection and provision for this family. Amen.

Father, please send Your Holy Spirit to this family. Reveal yourself to this man, bring him closer to You. Give this woman strength and faith as she goes through this difficult time. Restore this marriage to better than it was before. AMEN.

RE: marriage in trouble

Hold your marriage up to God in prayer and ask the Father to heal your marriage, bring reconciliation and restore your love. Pray, and “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Never give up! Don’t get discouraged if you don’t see immediate results. Remember, God works according to his timing and not ours. You must simply do your part and leave the rest to Him.

RE: marriage in trouble

Proclaim the confessions given below. God's word never fails!

Isaiah 54:17
No weapon formed against __________________’s and my marriage will prosper and every
tongue raised against our reconciliation, God is showing in the wrong, for this is my heritage as
a child of God and my righteousness is from Him.
Jeremiah 1:12
Father, I thank You that You are hastening Your Word in my marriage in Jesus’ name.
Luke 18:8
I thank You, Father, for speedily avenging Your Word in my marriage in Jesus’ name.
II Chronicles 16:9
I thank You, Father, for showing Yourself strong on behalf of my marriage and reconciliation
with _____________________ for I am perfect in Jesus.
Joel 2:25, Isaiah 61:7; Proverbs 6:31
I praise You, Father, in Jesus’ name for restoring to _____________________ and me
everything the enemy stole, including our (list what Satan has stolen from you), and I thank You
that instead of shame we have a double portion. I see everything restored with the eye of my
faith according to Your Word.
Luke 21:15
Satan cannot overcome me for You have given me a mouth and wisdom. The enemy cannot
gainsay or resist in Jesus’ name.
Matthew 16:18; Acts 19:20
I thank You, Father, that the gates of hell are not prevailing against me and my marriage, for I
am the church, and Jesus said that the gates of hell would not prevail against me. Therefore, the
Word of God is prevailing in _____________________’s and my marriage, according to Your
promises in these scriptures in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen

RE: marriage in trouble

Lord, please bring YOUR WISDOM to this guest.
I would like to share something I just learned that may be significant to you in your case.
I was just told by someone dear to me, that there is concern about all the vets that are coming back from the war that are suffering from mental problems & brain injuries. They did not know the details as such other than the facts at hand & a friend of their's who's husband is also suffering from some apparent brain disorder or injury (he recently returned from Afghanistan I believe).
The figures were as many as 30%, & the tbi's, traumatic brain injury, is from the war games/ or the explosions of the bombs.. but apparently the figures are very high.
I am thinking this is the poster that's husband is overseas & at war.
I appologize if I am wrong.
I know there are some counselors that specialize in working with families of vets, those in service & even years ago I had heard that the divorce rates are alarming in regards.
As I say I am not sure this is the same person but I am thinking maybe it is.. & if your husband is the one overseas & there are things that are not adding up, perhaps seek counseling in regards to what is going on with some of these guys... I will pray for you in regards.
Listen closely to what JESUS Tells you.. quiet yourself, & then hear HIS VOICE. Of course you cannot make your husband be there or something happen he does not want to happen, but if he is affected by war, then there is much sense made of what is going on perhaps & could help you to decide what to do & the help to seek through this process. I wonder if the VA's have support groups for the spouses that are here & going through this sort of thing/ or maybe they know of a connect for you.
God Bless you in whatever situation it is. It has to be very hard on you. I pray God's Protection, remember, GOD IS our SPOUSE.
Bless Jesus-cross Bible
