My dad, the best man in my life, died this fall after a three year battle with cancer. Many prayed for him. Many fasted. Many felt that God had told us that Dad would be healed and that he would have fifteen more years on this earth. He had three.

My faith has been waning for years. I struggle to see the pain and suffering all around me in the news and in my community, and I struggle to see how God could take from us such a man of kindness, courage, and FAITH when we need him so badly. None of my siblings are Christians. How could God let us down like this? Oh, I know all the pat answers, Dad really was healed, we need to find our own faith in the Lord, God can turn all things to good, etc. None of those things answer my heart's cry. My anger. My confusion. My pain.

I miss my dad and I miss my God. But one is gone, and the other is starting to seem more and more like nothing but a figment of my imagination.

Dear child of God, let me tell you one thing. Job 33:13 says-Why do you contend with Him?
For He does not give an accounting of any of His words/ matters. Also let me encourage You Job lost everything in his life and felt as though God forsook him , but his latter end he was greatly blessed. God is not unjust to make you cry and He takes pleasure in it. He also must have shed tears when your dear Dad passed away. Remember John 11:35 Jesus wept. When martha cried telling Him about Lazarus death, he also shed His tears with her. He is God of compassion. He is working something to compensate you richly for the loss that you have faced in the family, and He is Your Father. You just have to receive Him in the place of your earthly father, not just as God. Hebrews 9:27 says-it is appointed for men to die once. also bible says Rev 21:4 says He will wipe away tears from their eyes. Dont let satan to tell you that you have lost everything and the Lord has let you down. No my dear, here you have to stand for Christ, as He is resurrection and Life, and prove to your unsaved family members that Your redeemer lives and oneday You will see your dad at home. He will never leave you in this state. He just waiting for you with His outstreched arms to receive you. He loves You just run to HIm. Jesus will never put you to shame when you trust in him and look to Him. when you go thorugh the furnace you will come forth as gold. God will reveal His glory through You to others and you can strengthen others who are going through the same phase and GOd will bless you abundantly. God will make your relationship with Him more true and glorious. Jesus is with you to the end of the age. Come back to Jesus- He is saying to You- come to me all who are labored and heavyu laden I will give you rest. There are many young people who are dead and gone without even knowing that they had cancer in their body. But God extended your father's life for 3 years after that also. Thank God for that. My child the last thing i would like to encourage you is this- Psalm 84:11-For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. You have been made upright and righteous through the blood of Jesus Christ. Cheer up.

lord!please touch this person & guide this person...remove all the obstacles & let your power rule over this person..help this person shine for your glory..give peace to this person..in JESUS name i pray amen..

Loving Father, please give this person the gift of faith. Help them to see you working in their circumstances and to see the reality of the life to come and all that it offers. In Jesus' name, according to your will, amen.
