Lord, please not again
Background story:
I was Married and with my Husband for 7 years. We started having problems and I started getting a feeling that he was seeing someone else. It got so bad over time and I told him I would give him space and go to my Mom's and when he wanted me to come back let me know. A few days later he told me that he had a "girlfriend" before I knew it she moved into our Home with one of her children. I stood for my Marriage for a year. He brought her to my Mother's home, got a tattoo of her name on his arm, she started going my Mrs., as if she completely took over my role. Finally after a terrible conversation, him using me to get money by lying and saying she was gone, and her disrespecting me I woke up the next morning and was done. My exhusband and his "girlfriend" have a baby together now. I was exhausted and knew God had better in store for me. He filed for divorce and now we are divorced. I fell in love with this amazing man, after my Marriage was over. He loves me as well. I have some issues, problems with trust, rejection and low self esteem from my Marriage that I unfortunately pushed off on the new guy and it pushed him away. We used to be very close. We had such a great bond. He told me that his exgirlfriend might be pregnant with his children, she's not sure who the Father is, and there are other women in his life as well. Because of what happened between my Husband and I, I am very insecure and just ask God if He will allow me to love another man, to be blessed with someone so much better, just to let me loose him too. It's devastating and heart breaking for me and I feel myself going into a depression. I miss him desperately, we haven't seen each other or spoken like we used to. This is very difficult for me.
Prayer Request:
I ask that you all pray that The Lord's will is done with my new relationship/friendship. That His will is done with whether these children are his or not. For me to have peace and praise during this storm. For me not to loose him, for us to become even closer then we ever were before and for us to get through this hard time together. For my complete healing from the pain of my Marriage. The restoration of my self esteem, self love, and faith that God will move for me in all areas of my life including this, not just for other things but my love life. That I no longer punish him for my past and that we remain in each other's lives and have a closer bond then I could ever pray for through God. That I stay Christ centered and positive and that His will is done. I just want to be a new person and to have the faith that I used to when I was a little girl. I want to look at God and know that although what happened between my ex Husband and I happened that He will protect my heart, guard my heart, and never let me experience that kind of pain again. I want a full restoration, my mind, spirit, heart and relationship. This will make me happier then I could ever imagine. In Jesus Name.

RE: Lord, please not again
Having been through a similar situation of an unfaithful husband, we too divorced. I too have remarried and have struggled with trust, but without trust, there is no relationship. You have to remember, your current husband is NOT you ex. They are two different people and if you believe God brought you together, then trust he will guard and protect your marriage. Try, and I know this is hard, try not to live in the past. It cannot be undone, nor is it your future. Lean not on your own understanding, but trust in the Lord with all your heart! God is good, faithful, and just. The wrongs will be avenged, and all things done in secret are brought to light. I will pray for peace and reconcilation for you.

RE: Lord, please not again
Thank you so much for your prayers. My current friend is unfortunately not my Husband, although I pray for him to be one day. I do have no doubt that God brought him into my life. Thank you for your prayers of reconciliation. I truly need them and trust God is working on my behalf. I am so happy you remarried. I pray for the same for me and hopefully to the person I currently love. We'll see what God does. Thank you.
