I'm asking for prayers ASAP for my local Christian radio station.
KGNZ has been operating in my town for 27 years.
They have weathered everything that has come along.
Faithfully broadcasting good news and great music, never missing a beat.
Lives have been changed because of this ministry.
Lives have been saved, suicides have been prevented, prisoners have been ministered to, and all those listening have been encouraged.
A few years back, their longtime station caretaker Nancy Hill (the wife of the station's manager) was diagnosed with Alzheimers Disease.
She faithfully cared for the station from the beginning, but the past couple of years had forced her to cut back and then retire from the job altogether. Her husband Jack has faithfully cared for her needs, and has done as best as could be with the station needs.
But now they are facing a very large tax problem to the tune of nearly 90 thousand dollars.
This is something that has never happened before because Nancy always took such good care of things.
If this is not paid in the next month, KGNZ may forever be lost from the air.
Please pray with me for KGNZ that they'll be able to raise enough funds from listeners to keep this from happening.
Whether or not you listen to or like Christian music, this is a ministry that affects real lives and it is much needed.
It reaches people in ways other ministries cannot.
Please help me pray for KGNZ.
I'm writing this and my eyes continue to spill over and over. I'm so sad at the thought of losing them here.
