My husband of 15 months left on Saturday after physically attacking me and my two oldest boys. I asked him to get help or leave. He chose to leave. He is manic depressive and refuses to take his medication. He's been verbally abusive for several months and it's gotten worse since July 1 when he dumped all his medications down the toilet and refused to take them. He drinks daily as well.

I'm asking God to humble him, take away his pride and show him that he has a problem and he needs help. He blames me for his anger and his outbursts and all his problems. I was a widow when he met me and he convinced me that God wanted him to marry me and to care for me and my six kids. It has been a very difficult year.

I'm asking God to change his hard heart, humble him and restore our marriage to what God wanted it to be.

One of the problems with the treatment of manic depression is the cycle of refusing to take medication...it is part of the illness...as the cycle moves from depression toward manic...and the euphoria sets in...the person feels better and therefore stops. Of course the crash is inevitable...back to depression and therefore the cycle starts again. Father, I pray that you would allow ths husband to understand his need to remain on his meds Supernaturally. I pray that he would stick with his regimen of meds and therapy to allow himself to think clearly. I pray that God intervenes and gives him wisdom and this wife patience and wisdom also in trying to repair the marriage. In Jesus name...Amen!
