I'm requesting prayer for my home situation. I'm 41 & due to financial reasons I'm living with my parents. The problem is with my mother. I have to work (due to the economy & poor health, I can only work part time). I also have household & other personal responsibilities. My mom is getting back into the phase where she's making unreasonable demands on my time & energy. If I'm trying to clean at home, she makes me stop to wait on her, then becomes angry that it's taking me longer than expected to clean. She calls me at work during our busiest time demanding answers to unimportant questions & has even stated that I need to quit my job to help her, yet if I quit, she'll be angry that my dad will have to help me financially. She's impossible to please. I also suffer from 3 chronic health issues, which means I have too much to deal with already. She even gets angry when I have to eat, take medication or test my blood sugar b/c that means I'm not focusing on her. I'm not trying to be selfish. I make sure I prepare her meals before I do mine. She's not an invalid, by the way. My dad doesn't help matters b/c he encourages this behavior by spoiling her & giving in. I hope I'm not being selfish, it's just that I have no life at all & it's become impossible just to work. She won't even let me sleep, often waking me at 3am to get her a coke, etc. I'm just frustrated & tired.
