My father Philip has been battling cancer for 5 years. He thinks he is going to die soon. We didn't have a good relationship while I was growing up. I never felt wanted by him and still to this day, 35 years later, he continues to disappoint me and hurt me. I have always just swept my feelings under the rug in order to keep family peace. Please pray that I can sort out my feelings and pray that I get the strength to finally tell him how I really feel (but in a gentle, loving way). I'm torn in half between being hurt and mad at him and feeling guilty for feeling that way because he's dying.

Please pray also for a miracle for him that the cancer leaves his body and he is healed. I love my dad so much.

I stand in total agreement with these prayers Father and ask that you remove guilt from the heart of this guest and replace it with forgiveness. Remove hurt from this poor heart and replace it with understanding and peace. Father have your perfect will be done in this situation that full reconciliation may occur between this father and daughter while there is still life in his body. If it be in your will to bring healing to him...Father...in your mercy please do so that this father and daughter may know fellowship while there is still time. In Jesus name...Amen!

PRAISE UPDATE!! Thank you all for your prayers. God worked quickly on this one. My father just called and said he had the feeling something was bothering me. I asked how he knew, and he said he just knew. We had a long heart to heart talk about everything. He told me he loved me. He told me never be afraid to talk to him. Our relationship is restored!! Praise God!!!
