I don't even know why I'm here but just expressing my feelings. I hate my father more than anything in the world, the pain and those emotional, physical abuse (from childhood), verbal abuse has left me hating myself and issues everyday I have trust issues. He is always angry and name callings and comparing me I am guilty to say I curse and talk back to him and even swear at him. I still can't get over the time he spit on me telling me how I shouldn't have been born... Pffffftttt well that explains why I hate ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lord please give peace to all of us who where abused and mistreated by our parents from as long as we can remember, even in our adult life. Help us to be forgiving, but give us the strength not to allow them to continue to abuse and belittle us anymore. Heal us from all the hate and hurt that has accumulated in us throughout the years. Your word tells us to honor our parents, but what if we are abused by them till our older years? Help us to comprehend your will in this cases. I pray in Jesus's name, amen.
