Grandson

Hello,

I would like to request prayer for my grandson Gabe. He is going to turn 12 years old tomorrow. He has a lot of emotional/behavioral problems. Everyday when he goes to school, he gets into trouble. He has been calling bad names to other children, fighting, and disrespecting the teachers and other authority figures. When he is asked to give an account of what went on in school that led up to the trouble, he lies. He is a liar. Please pray that he would stop lying to his mother and I, and to others who are involved in his life. Gabe's father has been in prison since Gabe was aged three. I believe a lot of his struggles are related to that issue. We are a Christian family and I believe in the power of God and prayer.

Thank you,

Elaine

RE: Grandson

I completely am praying for you and your situation. This past Summer I lied to my mom and family about a few things and i never lie...The reason people lie is so that they dont get punished or they dont hurt another person. I pray that he will realize lying isnt going to solve anything and comes to you with the full truth. I'm sure his whole dad issue has something to do with it too :( God always answers prayers. He is an amazing powerful God! Lean on him and don't stop praying. I hope this is just a phase he's going through. I truly hope he doesnt emotionally or physically hurt another child! Stay strong!!!

I know how hard it is to watch your grandchildren struggle emotionally because of a parents bad choices. I pray that God will hael Gabe emotionally and strengthen him to face whatever comes his way. I pray God will bring christians into his young life that will show him the love of Jesus in a practical way. Oh God, please wrap your arms around Gabe and draw him to you...In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen

RE: Grandson

The Holy Spirit told me to start speaking words of blessings over Gabe. If his mother is not doing this, you grandma has to lay your hand on his head and speak blessings over him. Don't focus on what is happening with him right now.

Say the following a prayer of blessing:
"May God bless you and watch over you. May God shine His face toward and show you favor. May God be favorably disposed toward you, and may He grant you peace. May the lord release you to the fulfillment the very purpose of God as he called you to ordained you. You are a gift from God to us. God loves you, Jesus loves you and we love you." Amen Jesus-sign

Say this prayer over him every week, and you will see the results if you doubt not. Stop talking about how bad he is, we all know where this come from. God bless you grandma Elaine for being there for him. Bless

Good evening, I'm from the Philippines. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for almost two years now and we still have not been successful. I am looking for prayer warriors who can help us with our request. My husband and I believe that God will bless us in His time, please pray with us for patience, strength and more faith that God will answer our prayers for a healthy baby if we ask in His name. Thank you...

RE: Grandson

Yes, Elaine, you are right. Gabe's daddy has been in prison for about 9 years? Is this Gary? We are raising our little grandaughter who is 8. Steve has been now for 4 years, he has 10 more to go. Praying he will be home sooner, if it be the Lord's will. He cannot see his daughter, we are fighting this. But Yes, these behaviors come up because of the incarceration of their parent. We are going through some of this also, but she has not reached the anger stage yet, that comes around your grandson's age. We have many problems around the holidays and her birthday. Or school functions such as dad and daughter events. I will be praying for him, Elaine. Understand completely, he is hurt and angry. He feels different from others and becomes flustrated when he cannot do anything about it. My little grandaughter sent steve a little booklet she had made, showing herself crying on every page, a big monster, and a picture of him in jail. We sent it to him, he needed to see it. Then before Christmas this year she wanted to send herself inside a big box to him. We told her she couldn't do that, so she wanted them to send him to her. They are just children, it is so hard for them. They try to think what they can do to be like everyone else they know. And when their ideas don't work, they become angry and defensive. Alot of it is a system problem. Which I wish they would recognize. There needs to be more help for these children, who are hurting. Gabe is in my prayers, he will be there along with ashley. Our Dear Lord, has a special place in his heart for the children. With our prayers, and those who join us, the Dear Lord will see them through this. Praying also Gabe will be back with his daddy soon.
Hope- Gabe had a wonderful birthday, filled with smiles and laughter! Glad his mom is home schooling Him now. And that he is doing alot better. One on one, giving them extra attention, that they need, helps so very much.

" He will wipe every tear from their eyes" Revelation 21:4
