RE: The state of the Soul within our Country
Father...our country has been on a collision course with evil for many years. When we removed God from our schools, form our court system and from many of our homes...we forgot who we were as a nation and the Biblical principles on which we were founded. Many of our our children do not respect their parents, teachers, elders, their pastors or God. They speak to each of these often like they are people off of the street. Our business leaders steal from the citizens with big bonuses for themselves from monies given to keep major employers afloat to provide jobs for Americans. Some of our Pastors are so absorbed with running their churches like businesses that they are not teaching the Full Gospel of God for fear that the people will rebel and leave if they tell the truth.
New Age philosophy has come into our churches masked as contemporary Christianity and we have Christians absorbed with how they can get what they want in their lives as opposed to how they should LIVE their lives. Christ tells us that he came that we might have life and life more abundantly...but we have in many cases equated that to a I want it, I get it even if the IT is forbidden to us by the word of God. We are afraid as Christians to chastise our young or admonish them despite the fact that the Bible teaches that chastisement and reproof from God through his word and by his people...the hands and feet of Jesus...(which is us) is necessary to train up our young. Consequently many of our young, therefore, are as rebellious as those in the world and often you cannot tell the young in Christ from those in the world by the way they talk and act. There was a time when we held ourselves, our young, our old, our leaders in government, business and churches accountable for their actions. But our society has become so permissive that we have forgotten the importance of that concept and we are paying for it dearly. Our jails are filled, our kids are using drugs and having unprotected sex that can kill them...babies are having babies and still we go on living like nothing has changed. We allow ourselves to make excuses for our poor conduct; we lobby politically about things spiritual and we justify it all with even more excuses.
No-one administration is responsible for this...this has been going on since the first case was tried in the Supreme Court that took prayer away from the schools which dates back to the late 50s and early 60s...and it is truly a sign of the end times. 9-11 stands as a day that we will not only remember historically but marks the exact date when God removed protection from our nation...it was the first time that we had EVER seen terrorism on our own soil and was a major warning to us. Many Pastors understood this and have led congregations to pray consistently for our leaders but still they do not hear. However, all of this is in the Word...a lukewarm church is very much a part these end-times...the changes in our weather, the Tsunamis, the earthquakes growing greater in frequency and seismic intensity, the return of the Jews to Israel from all over the world speak to the fact that it is highly possible that in THIS GENERATION we will hear the trumpet and THE CHURCH...not the lukewarm variety because the Word says those Jesus will spit out of his mouth and say he never knew them... But the TRUE CHURCH those people who have made the effort to live without blemish or stain (which doesn't mean we always do)...but who have truly tried...who have spoken, taught and lived the truth will hear the trumpet and be caught up in the twinkling of an eye to be hidden away in heaven for the 7 years of Tribulation. If we are to turn this nation around...that we might live abundantly until the Lord comes...we need to cry out to heaven...with many voices as God has told us to. We need to repeal laws that have grieved our God...and we need to use the collectivity of our vote to place leaders in the system that will follow God's principles and place judges in our Supreme Court who also know the Father and we need to hold ourselves and our young accountable!
The formula is simple and is found in his word..."if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles:7-14
I pray with all that is in me that we will...that many families and churches will...that many business leaders and government leaders will. While I cannot speak for others...I can speak for my family...and my daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren...we will...we do as we learn and continue to grow. As His Word says..."But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." Joshua 24:15...In Jesus name...Amen!
