Father, I come to you this morning praising you for another day, thanking you for another day to pray for others.

Father, I ask that you would remember our troops that are fighting in various war theaters throughout the world. Guard and protect them Father. Many of them are just boys themselves...sent to foreign lands only knowing that they fight for our freedoms.

Others are husbands and wives...mothers and fathers who have loved ones waiting anxiously at home for their return. Bring them home safely Father, that the may lead and guide their families.

Still others have returned with limbs lost and fearful memories that have lingered in the form of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Bind up their wounds and let them know that they are still whole people in your eyes and the eyes of a grateful nation to whom they gave their service. Help these men and women to re-enter civilian life and bring to living at home the courage and dedication that they gave to war. Let each of them be honored in their homeland and in their own homes...and in the hearts of all that they undertook these battles to protect. In Jesus name...Amen!
